College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel are cheaper with hygenic food and comfortable stay. You won't feel away from home. off campus housing facility around the areas of college is good. The campus have nearly 4 canteens with a fully air conditioned canteen. But when it comes to food the north indian students might face a problem with the hostel food but you can have delicious food in the city if you are off campus. The infrastructure of hostels is really good.
Academics & Faculty : GITAM is a good college with able faculty & teaching system. Accesibility to study sources is high compared to other universities and they give their student enough of practical and industry exposure. Classrooms with modern infrastructure, with continuos evaluation process with tri-semester program. 89% of the faculty members are PHD degree holders and 80% of them come with Industry Exposure.
Fees & Scholarships : Course Fee is Rs 6.5 lakhs per annum only for 2 years. Scholarships are available. With every other expenses course fee will not cross 7 lacs. Scholarship is not availed by more than 3% of students and generally seems impractical. Yes loans are needed and can be availed easily. Bank loan depends on the individual.
Placements & Internships : Internships options are good. Prominent recruiters include Deloitte, Naukri, Idea and many more. Salary packages offered are as per the industry standards. The average salary goes to about Rs 5-6 lakhs per annum on an average. Alumni network is really strong.
