Library

Our Institutions libraries provides relevant, authoritative and up-to-date information for our users and aligns with the vision and mission of the institute to keep students abreast with the latest developments in their area of activities and to provide information and extensive resources to support research and development activities and to meet requirements of students and faculties.

Hostel

Thousands of students from all across the country live in our hostels. The separate facilities for boys and girls, caring wardens and a tight security ensures a pleasant stay allowing you to focus on your academics. There is an option for air-conditioned rooms as well. Normal non-A/C hostel rooms are also available.
Students also get a highly professional on-campus laundry service. Whilst internet access and STD facilities ensure close contact with family and friends outside, the fully equipped common rooms allow for that relaxed time with friends on Campus. There is also an on-campus ATM facility.
There is a separate hostel block for the girl students. The rooms are provided with a bed, a study table, a chair, a cupboard and the usual fixtures. The students may bring their bed linen, toiletries and locks for almirah and hostel rooms.
Recreational Facilities at Hostel :
A Badminton court, Table Tennis, Billiards, Gymnasium, Recreation Room, T.V. Lounge and Canteen are some of the facilities provided on campus. Yoga classes are conducted for the fitness freaks.

Cafeteria

“Coolest Place”
We at Ganpatis realize the importance of hygienic and wholesome food for our students. Our cafeteria offers a Wide range of snacks and meals. You can get anything from take-always and quick lunches, to barbecues, to formal dinners. Institute has got one of the best managed cafeterias, which is controlled by the institute itself to cater the need for good, healthy and nutritious food at affordable prize. The Institute has an extremely well-kept self service cafeteria. It caters to the students taste-bud and is a great place to unwind in between the hectic lecture-lab schedules. The way to the cafeteria is refreshingly beautiful and the atmosphere inside it is heart-warming and relaxing. It has a modern, comfortable, aesthetically planned seating arrangement.
The rich and varied fare it offers ranges from quick, crisp anytime-snacks, delicious ice-creams, hot and cold beverages to sumptuous meals. And all this is available at very reasonable, in fact, appetizing rates. The cafeteria is a cheerful place to be in at all times. It bustles with irrepressible youngsters and brims over with their infectious vibrant spirit.

Sports

GAMES & SPORTS Education in its broad sense means development of overall lifelong personality of an individual. The practice of Physical Education & Sports is a fundamental right for all (UNESCO). This department is committed to develop cardio respiratory fitness, general motor ability, differential ability, quick decision ability, quick judgment ability, quick reflex action and decreased movement time. The department preserves & develops physical, intellectual, moral power of the human being and quality of life at national and quality of life at international level. Students & staff member enjoy excellent and one of the best spots facilities available in the country.

Indoor facilities
Aerobic, Badminton, table tennis, chess, yoga, meditation, weight lifting, multi gym and sports rehabilitation centre.

Outdoor facilities
Football, cricket, kho- kho, kabaddi, tennis, volleyball, basketball, hockey and track and field (athletics)

Timing
Department opens in the morning at 6:00 A.M and continues till 7:00 P.M. in the evening.Every year students get selected in various Games & Sports teams to represent GITM for participating in AI tournaments of the country.

Staff
Staff members are specialized in various Games & Sports activities and are holding doctoral degrees. They have published articles in National journals. The department receives grant from U.G.C. to carry out research on professional students.

Transport

Transportation Ganpatis have their own fleet of Buses to provide transportation facility to students and Faculty members. The Bus service is available from main cities like Ambala City, Ambala Cantt., Yamuna Nagar, Poanta Sahib, Jagadhri & Kurukshetra along with coverage of nearby villages.

WiFi Campus

The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a high speed internet connection to allow the students to access the internet no-matter wherever they are. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not only restricted to class rooms but also extends to all the areas including library, Auditorium, cafeteria, and hostels. All the websites browsed by him/her are regularly monitored.
