KUK is one of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) and its foundation was laid by late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The university campus is located on the western bank of Brahm Sarovar (the holy tank) and extends over 400+ acres.

 The university has been positioned at 8th position amongst the state universities in India in Category-I by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and was awarded A+ Grade by NAAC. It has also been granted academic autonomy.

Kurukshetra University Admission 2024

Kurukshetra University admission process varies according to courses, to take admission in any college students have to give an online entrance exam according to their choice for different streams. Kurukshetra University Eligibility Criteria

Numerous courses are offered by Kurukshetra University University, each of which has different eligibility criteria. Given below is a list of a few courses offered by the KUK with their eligibility criteria:

KUK B.Tech Eligibility

B.Tech is a 4-year undergraduate program, with specializations such as Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, andElectrical Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 60% in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/ Biology/ Biotechnology or equivalent.
• The candidate has to qualify for Entrance exams
• JEE Main/ Advanced
• Candidates must have clear Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%  from a recognized board.

KUK M.Tech Eligibility

M.Tech is a two-year postgraduate program specializing in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering,  Microelectronics and VLSI Design, Computer Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

• GATE Exam
• Candidates must have BE/ B.Tech or M.Sc with a minimum aggregate of 55% and with appropriate specializations as specified

KUK MBA Eligibility

MBA is a two-year postgraduate program in business Administration KUK offered various streams and fields for MBA.

Eligibility Criteria

• CAT exam is mandatory
• The candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Kurukshetra University Cut Off

The university offers numerous courses to its students, having varying courses, KUK cut-offs are released every year during the admission season. KUK cut off for various courses will be calculated based on:

• The categories of reservation
• The availability of seats
• Kurukshetra University releases the merit list every year for admission for UG courses/ PG courses and candidate are required to apply for the course-specific entrance exams

KUK Hostel Details

KUK  hostel is known for its excellent and separate accommodation for both boys and girls. There are 25 hostels in KUK for which 11 are for boys, 1 hostel is for foreign male students and 13 hostels are for girls. The capacity of the boy's hostel is 2700 beds and 3000 beds are in the girl's hostel. The hostel is allocated to the students based on merit in the admission list.

KUK Scholarships

• The institute has introduced Dr. Radha Krishnan Fund to provide financial help to research scholars who need financial assistance to continue research work.
