University Institute of Engineering & Technology was established by Kurukshetra University in the year, 2004. It is a Constituent Autonomous Institute.  UIET aims to provide quality technical education to students and to undertake research in the field of Engineering & Technology. The institute has been approved by AICTE and is accreditated by NAAC with an 'A' grade.

The institute offers 4 B.Tech and 8 M.Tech courses in technically important disciplines and also offers Ph.D. programs. The students are shortlisted based on the merit and scores in the entrance examinations.

University Institute of Engineering and Technology Courses:

University Institute of Engineering and Technology offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and Doctoral courses in the discipline of Engineering. Major courses offered at UIET are B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D.

UIET Placements:

The Institute has separate Training and Placement Cell that manages all placement related activities. The Placement cell organizes activities aimed at increasing their leadership qualities, organizational qualities, communication skills, etc. The UIET placement focuses on the employability of the students. There were 88 students from the 2018 graduating batch were placed in various reputed companies. Infosys, Wipro, HP, Syntel, SAP Labs India Pvt. Ltd., etc. are a few of the top recruiters visiting the campus.

The institute provides excellent infrastructure facilities like laboratories, workshops, and a modern well-stocked central library for achieving academic excellence. The institute has other essential infrastructure facilities like a well-developed sports complex including a swimming pool, hostels, health center, etc. The campus has been made fully wifi with telephony and broadband internet connectivity.

University Institute of Engineering and Technology Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates can apply for admission online. Students are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The following are the eligibility criteria for the courses offered at UIET.

University Institute of Engineering and Technology Admissions:

Eligible candidates can apply online on the college website. The candidates seeking admissions needs to clear JEE Main. The admission for the M.Tech program is based on the GATE score or on the performance in Institute Level Entrance Test.
