Chengalpattu Medical College of Tamil Nadu has a long history that dates back to 1965. It was a District Headquarters Hospital that was later updated to a medical training institute by the Tamil Nadu Government and with the heartful donation of a large area by Vedachalam Mudaliar, the then Municipality Chairperson. Currently, it is part of the Government Chengalpattu Medical College. The institute is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and is also recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

B.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be of age ranging from 17 to 35.
• Marks secured for 10+2 must be a minimum of 40%.
• The applicant must be a native of Tamil Nadu. They should have studied Tamil as their first language and English as a second language in the qualifying course.
• Interested candidates falling under the category of SC, ST, and SCA must obtain at least 35% in the qualifying examination.

DM/Mch Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must secure a valid score for the NEET SS examination that is conducted by the NBE.
• These courses come under the Super Specialty (SS) course and only 4 seats are open.
