Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission criteria is very simple. The cutoff for my course is 80% or above marks.

Academics & Faculty : The quality of teaching is the best, and the teachers are brilliant and excellent at their work.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostels and PG facilities are available for students.

Clubs & Associations : College life is very good. The main events celebrated are sports and cultural activities.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The basic eligibility criteria is 12th pass, and there is no mandatory exam for admission. The cutoff marks for my course is a minimum of 60% of marks in 12th.

Fees & Scholarships : Government College for Women, Jammu Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 11,000 per annum.

Academics & Faculty : The method of teaching is good, and the quality is excellent.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : PG options are good, and it costs around INR 6000 per month.

Clubs & Associations : The main events are sports and cultural programs. College life is average here.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission process is very easy, firstly we have to fill online admission form and then wait for our merit list..and finally we have to fill admission form in offline mode and submit it to the department.. For admission we need 10th and 12th mark sheet, Cast category certificate, adhar card copy, 10th &12th diploma, leaving certificate, passport size photo etc. There is no entrance I have given.

Placements & Internships : College facilitates girls to become independent. Various programmes and seminars by UDAAN are conducted in the college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For getting admission in GCW, Gandhi nagar, Jammu a candidate must have cleared all the subjects in her 12th standard exams. There is a wide range of subjects for the candidate to choose from. For BSc in medical, a candidate can opt for botany, zoology, chemistry, biotech, food science. The cut off for Bsc with biotechnology as one of the subjects goes up to 88-90%. Also, chemistry is a compulsory subject for students of both Bsc medical and BSc nonmedical.

Fees & Scholarships : The college fees is very minimal. It is around INR 4500 for BSc medical excluding the practical fees which is 300/- per practical. Various scholarship programs are available in the campus for poor and backward students. Scholarship programs for orphans are also available in the college. Since it is a govt college and professional courses are not taught, therefore there's no need for students to apply for a loan.

Academics & Faculty : The classes in the college start at 09:00 AM and end at 03:00 PM. Practical classes of 1st year (1st and 2nd Sem) are from 09:00 AM -11:00 AM. For 2nd year (3rd and 4th Sem) practical timings are from 01:00 pm -03:00 pm. For 3rd year (5th and 6th Sem) students, the schedule for practicals is from 11:00 am-01:00 pm. There are about 15 professors in each botany and zoology dept. In chemistry dept, there are more than 25 professors. All the faculty members are highly qualified and educated. The professors taught us sorely with the help of charts and projects and visual representations

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college is women's college so there is only girls hostel inside the campus. The hostel is very secure for the girls with a warden living in the hostel. The girls are not allowed outside the campus after 6 pm in the evening. The mess provides students with good quality of food 3 times a day. All the other facilities like geyser, beds, cupboards, electricity,etc are provided to the girls. The new buildings have modern classes with fully furnished wooden benches .4-5 Wifi networks are available in the college.

Clubs & Associations : NSS, NCC groups are in the college for a very long time. ABVP is associated with the college. All kinds of festivals ranging from Diwali to Eid to Christmas are being celebrated in the college campus. Various programmes are held in college on these occasions. Karwa Chauth is celebrated in college where we see a very healthy interaction between the teachers and students. Girls put Mehandi designs on women staff.
