- The 'Sydenham Library' was established in 1897 and it was reconstructed in 1955.
- This library houses the rarest collection of books.
- It has nearly 80,000 books in which 30,000 books are considered to be very rare.
- Most of the research journals are available in the printed and the electronic form.
- NLIST, INFLIBNET Centres provide access to E-resources.
- The library is fully automated with SOUL software.
- All the basic process like issue-return of books, searching or reserving a book are computerised.
- The bibliographic details of the books are retained with the help of bar-code system.
- To provide access to the resource collection from outside the campus, web-based inquiry model has been installed.
Hostel:
- Gujarat Arts and Science College has 4 hostel blocks named A, B, C, D.
- It could accommodate around 188 students.
- It also provides accommodation to the girl students.
