Gulbarga University offers various scholarships to students to pursue their education without any trouble. The university provides support to students from the SC and ST Category. The details regarding the Gulbarga University scholarships are provided below.

• Rs 600 per month is paid to each of the SC and ST students as boarding and lodging charges by the university, of which Rs 510 is reimbursed by the social welfare department.
• An amount of Rs 2200 per month and an annual contingency grant of Rs 2500 are sanctioned as financial assistance to the SC and ST students registered for PhD for three years and Rs 2000 for M.Phil courses with an annual contingency grant of Rs 2500.
• TA/DA to attend conferences is paid to all the PG students and teachers belonging to SC and ST categories.
• A cash prize of Rs 1000 is sanctioned to SC and ST Gulbarga University students who have secured first class in their final year examination UG and PG, including PG Diploma and M.Phil.
• Fee concession is given to all SC and ST students and tuition fee concession for other categories of students except general merit.
