Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies collaborates with various corporate firms in order to initiate job placement activities like internships, live projects, and research work. GNIMS has a partnership with around 200+ corporates in order to provide necessary employability opportunities to the students. Around 135 companies visit the campus for hiring purposes each year. The placement rate for the academic batch 2020-22 was around 96%.

Around 40% of new companies are invited each year for on-campus placements. GNIMS placement procedure involves registration of students, pre-placement talks, resume screening, shortlisting of the right candidates for the job opportunity, and finally, the announcement of the results and document verification takes place. Companies like ICICI Bank, Berger Paints India Ltd, Primetals Technologies, Siemens Ltd, and Sulzer Pumps Ltd are the prominent recruiters for GNIMS.

GNIMS Mumbai Placement Highlights

Around 70% of selected students at GNIMS get job offers even before the completion of their degrees. The key highlights of Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies Mumbai placements for 2021-22 are listed below.

GNIMS Mumbai Placement Cell

The CDC team includes an experienced team who significantly contributes to the development of students from first to final year. In addition to academic knowledge, skill sets like resume building, mock interviews, aptitude tests, internships, live projects, and industrial visits, required in the industry are arranged. The placement cell has a vast employer network that identifies students’ potential and helps them choose the right employer. Every year, the final placement season begins in July and finishes in March.

GNIMS Mumbai Internship

The application procedure for summer internships begins in December and closes in mid-April. In May and June, there will be an eight-week internship in the industry. There is an increase in the number of companies on a year-on-year basis from all the business and management sectors. Students are being involved in innovative business projects that involve greater industry exposure.
