IBS Mumbai Admissions 

Admissions at IBS Mumbai are based on a competitive selection process that evaluates candidates' academic records, entrance exam scores, and personal interviews. Aspiring students are required to appear for national-level entrance exams such as CAT, GMAT, or NMAT by GMAC. 

Candidates who qualify based on IBSAT/ GMAT/ CAT/ NMAT by GMAC will be called for the selection process. The final selection is based on performance in Micro Presentation, Personal Interviews and the past academic record

IBS Selection Process 2025

Recently, IBS has extended the deadline for admissions under the IBS- exempted category.  The following are the eligibility scores for applying directly for the MBA/PGPM courses.

A micro presentation round has been introduced in place of the general group discussion rounds as a part of the IBS selection process. The candidates are offered an opportunity to showcase their communication skills and analytical abilities.

The candidates are assigned a topic by selecting a number between 1 to 100.  A one-minute preparation time is given and they need to deliver a 3-minute presentation. The candidates have to present before a batch of 9 to 11 fellow candidates. Also, two-panel members are there to judge the presentation.

IBS Mumbai Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for IBS Mumbai.

• The student must have passed Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks with the medium of instruction as English.
• The applicant should have completed at least 15 years of education (on a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
• Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements.
• Valid Scores in IBSAT/ GMAT/ CAT/ NMAT by GMAC /XAT are also considered for admission.
