Eligibility Criteria for Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, [GNIT] Ambala

Eligibility Criteria for BBA

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognized Board in India.
• Candidate must have studied with English as one of the subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board in India.
• Candidate must have opted for Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology, Language and any other subject.
• He/She should have scored a minimum of 50% marks.
• All reserved category students have a 5% relaxation in minimum aggregate.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

• Candidate must have graduated from a 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA.
• A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

• Candidate must have graduated from a 10+2+4 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA.
• A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.
• Or, the Candidate should have completed MCA course or 2 years M.Sc Course with 55% marks from any recognized University.

Application Process for BBA, B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech

• Go to the University Official Website.
• Click on "Online Admission"
• Download the form and take a printout.
• Fill out all the information asked.
• All the fields are mandatory.
• Candidate can apply for one course in one Application Form.
• Once the form is submitted, it cannot be changed.
• In payment getaway, pay the Application Fees.
• Only after the successful payment of the Application Fees, the Application Process will be valid.
• Send the Application Form along with all the below-mentioned enclosures to the Univerisity before the last date.

Step 1: The candidate must write all the Personal Information such as

Step 2: Affix a recent passport size photograph of the applicant.

Step 4: Candidate has to choose the Course they wish to apply for.

Step 5: Mention the State of Domicile

Step 6: Write down all the Educational Qualifications such as

• 10th Examinations

• Degree Qualifications.
• Entrance Examinations

• Migration Certificate
• Character Certificate from the Institute last attended
• Matriculation Certificate/Proof of Age
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Result and Admit Card of JEE/LEET/MAT
• 10+2/Diploma/Degree Pass Certificate
• Detailed marks card
• Employer’s Certificate, if applicable
• Haryana Residence Certificate, only for Haryana residence
• Three Passport Size photographs.
• Two Anti Ragging Affidavits

Admission Process for B.Tech, BBA, MBA, M.Tech

• 75% of the total seats will be filled by Online Centralized Counseling conducted by the State of Haryana.
• Admissions for B.Tech will be based on the rank obtained by the candidate in JEE Mains Exam.
• Admissions for M.Tech will be based on the rank obtained by the candidate in CAT Exams.
• Admissions for M.Tech will be based on the rank obtained by the candidate in GATE Exams.
• Admissions for BBA will be based on the rank obtained by the candidate in LEET scores.
• The remaining 25% will be filled by the Institution on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examinations.
