Gyan Jyoti College is the first self-financed, multi-faculty Educational institution in the North Bengal region and North-Eastern Region. It was established in the year 2005 under the patronage of the Vivekananda Foundation, a registered trust. Gyan Jyoti was established to bring a change in the educational scenario by the conglomeration of Corporate Houses and eminent personalities. The college provides quality education for the development of the students.

The college was established with a purpose to reduce the chronic issue of students migrating to other places of the country to pursue higher education. The college now has a respected and well-established alma mater and over 2500 graduates of 15 disciplines in Science, Commerce, Management, Humanities and Computer Application. Gyan Jyoti College Admission is open for the students who wish to pursue these courses and must follow the eligibility criteria to get admitted to the college.

The pledge of the college towards the development of the students helped the students to get placed in various enterprises nationally and internationally. The institution has also been accreditated grade "B" by NAAC in 2012. Many of the students from this college have topped the University examinations.

Gyan Jyoti College offers 15 disciplines in Science, Humanities, Commerce, Management, Computer Application. It offers all the undergraduates courses that the students wish to pursue. The students can also pursue professional courses and honors courses. The courses are given below:

The college is located near NH-55, Dagapur, Siliguri, in its own ground. The ground measures 5 acres and it has a building of 60000 sq. feet. area. Given below are the details about the Gyan Jyoti College facilities:

• The college building has 3 laboratories, two for computer science and one for Mass communication.
• Both boys and girls have separate recreational room.
• The building has 34 classrooms with scientifically designed. The classrooms of the college are spacious, well-ventilated, and provides a desk for each student.

Gyan Jyoti College Eligibility Criteria:

Gyan Jyoti College has established some criteria for the courses the students wish to pursue. The eligibility criteria vary for the different disciplines. The details about the few eligibility criteria are:

Gyan Jyoti College Admission:

For this session, students will be admitted through online. Before applying online the students must scan the passport size photograph in JPG format of min 10kb to 100 kb size. Candidates should submit their valid phone numbers. Candidates can edit their application form till the last date of registration. Any wrong information found at the time of physical verification, the admission will be canceled.

Candidates must follow the subject selection rules of the college before subject selection. At the time of verification, students must be present along with parents/ guardians. Candidates should bring the print copy of admission form, bank challan, all important documents of online application, original copies of all the documents like mark sheet, certificates, etc. Fees can be paid online. The online payment cannot be refunded by the college under any circumstances.

The candidates should carry along with them transfer certificate, migration certificate, self-attested photocopies of mark sheet, a birth certificate as age proof, caste certificate, voter or Aadhar card as identity proof, etc.
