Handique Girls College is situated in an ideal location in the heart of then city of Guwahati on the western banks of the historically famous Dhighali Pukhuri .The serene atmosphere with calm, green surroundings, is conducive for academic pursuits. The present campus is spread over six bighas of land, which is rather inadequate for a college that is growing so fast; but the Government has allocated ten more bighas of land and future expansion should pose no problem when the land is properly developed.
The students are endowed with all convenient amenities that make their life” go easy” in campus and more over make learning make more interesting .

• Library: Well-furnished space is provided along with versatile amount of books.
• Class Room: Ventilated, Organised and Spacious.
• Canteen: Fresh hygienic stuffs provided with mess facility.
• Accommodation: Hostel provided for girls . Student from distant place is given more preference on first come first served basis. Hostel is well furnished for students.
• Sports and Games: indoor and outdoor games are indulged.
• Labs: furnished labs with latest gazette.
• WIFI: Seamless internet and free Wi-Fi connection in college premises.
