TRANSPORTATION

College has its own fleet of buses which provides transport facility from Ambala City, Ambala Cantt, Kurukshetra, Mustafabad, Shahabad, Barara, Poanta Sahib and Yamun Nagar, Bilaspur, Sadhaura, Naraingarh. College buses are proposed to run from Saharanpur(Uttar Pardesh),  Karnal and Panchkula also.

HOSTELS

In campus itself, the college has girls hostel which is home away from their home with almost motherly care. Boys’ hostel is also located in a close proximity of the college where the hostlers may have the feeling of being outside the college as well as very much within its range. Safety, security, comfort and care are the hallmarks of our hostels. However, following are some of the features of our lodgings:

LIBRARY

Fully air-conditioned, functionally designed building with seating capacity of over 460 students in two halls marks the magnificence & prestige of the college library. It acts as a treasure-trove of knowledge and acts as the unfailing repository of information. It amply provides for all the requirements of the teaching, training and research programmes of the institute. The library is fully computerized for issue and return of books. The digital library section and research library sections have been added to augment research activities and advance reading by teachers and tech savvy students. Besides the main library, there are departmental libraries for every stream. The college library has one of the largest stocks of over 30,000 books, over 2000 CDs for digital library, about 125 national & international journals and over 25 periodicals & news papers. 

E-RESOURCES
The library is member of INDEST-AICTE consortium through which our library users can access a large number of E- journals.

CAFETARIA

College has an elegant, spacious and air-conditioned cafeteria which serves a variety of mouth-watering snacks and meals to the students and staff at subsidized rates. It is a place for students to relax and rejuvenate.

INFOTECH CENTER

College is providing enough infrastructure to the students to pursue their research & project work. For this purpose a well designed fully A.C internet lab has been provided to the students in which they can carry out their research work & surf internet to enhance their knowledge base & prepare notes for their subjects.

BOOK BANK SCHEME

Library has Book Bank, which caters to the needs of economically weak students or SC/ST students. Books are issued for full semester, and every year, 400 students are benefitted by this.  

Cisco Academy

HEC has collaborated with CISCO since Jan, 2010 and houses a state of art CISCO Academy to train students on networking. There are regular classes as a part of curriculum for B.Tech- 2nd , 3rd and 4th year students to train the students on CCNA modules by the trained and experienced in house faculty. There are provision for in house training on networking during summer internships after 2nd year and 3rd year exams for 4 to 6 weeks for CCNA Certification. This training is provided by expert professionals hired for this purpose
