Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Medical College offers MBBS. The course is for a duration of 4 and 1/2 years. As per the Medical Council of India, there are 9 semesters each of 6 months’ duration. For the Nursing courses, the duration is around 4 years while for the Diploma the course duration is 2 years.

Hind Institute of Medical Science UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

Applicants who have qualified NEET UG conducted by CBSE are eligible for admission. A student is eligible for entry to the course after clearing the 12th class (Intermediate) examination. Reservation of seats for scheduled caste/tribes and other backward classes are made according to state government guidelines. NEET (UG) is a national level test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the 2nd week of May and is a pen-paper test of 3 hours’ duration. MBBS course fee is INR 11,30,000 per annum at the Hind Institute of Medical Sciences. All counselling procedures for HIMS, Lucknow admissions 2024 are carried out by the college based on marks obtained in 10+2. The B.Sc have course fees of INR 72,000 per annum.

Hind Institute of Medical Science Diploma Admission

The college offers several Diploma courses, which have the same eligibility as most of the undergraduate programs that are HSC or 10+2 passed student can apply all for any of the diploma courses, the only condition being that the student should have had science as one of the main subjects. Overall the college offers a total of 11 diploma courses, with most of being courses to become a technician. The courses include a diploma in Blood Transfusion, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, X-ray, C.T.Scan Technician, Cardiology Technician, Dialysis Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician, Emergency & Trauma Technician, and O.T Technician. All the above courses are for 2 years with the fees ranging from INR 4500 to INR 5000 per month. Except for Diploma in Pharmacy whose annual fee is INR 50,000.

Candidates who have completed MBBS and internship are eligible to apply for admission into MS/ MD. Applicants can get admission based on the NEET PG result. NEET-PG is a computer-based test of 3 hours 30 minutes duration and has 300 MCQs to attempt. All the courses are of 2 years duration. The College offers an M.Sc Nursing course, for students who have passed B.Sc nursing.
