Placements at Indian Institue of Information Technology, [IIIT] Sri City:

With 7 offers, GoLive, a Hyderabad based Start-up gaming firm emerged as the top recruiter for the first passing out batch of 2017 at IIIT Chittoor, Sri City. L & T Technology Solutions was the second-largest recruiter picking up six students. My Ally, another Hyderabad Start-up company was the third-largest recruiter picking up four students while Cloud Data Center, Hyderabad has extended three offers followed by Hyundai Mobies ( R &D Division), Finsol Tech and Bangalore based Velankani Software firm two offers each. Amazon, Via.Com, Societe general, Value Momentum, Pi Data Centers and Arka Insurance have offered one each. Out of 53 2017 batch students, 13 students opted out of the placement process as six of them are going for Higher Education and seven others to take up their own ventures. Of the 40 interested, 29 students have been placed till now in jobs with challenging job profiles in their areas of interest. More than 30 firms have participated in the placement process till now which includes five Start-up firms coming to the campus this year.

Placement Highlights:

• The maximum package offered that was ever offered was 21 LPA.
• The companies that came for hiring were of various categories such as multinational companies, successful startups, cutting-edge technologies computer science companies, and core ECE companies.
• Students secure internships, where typically students from tier-1 institutes of the country get internships.
