Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City, Chittoor is known as IIIT Sri City was established in 2013 by MHRD, Government of India as an institute of national importance by an act of parliament. IIIT Sri City Institute was set up by the Government of India along with the government of Andhra Pradesh and industry partners represented by Sri City foundation as a public-private-partnership (PPP) institution. IIIT offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MS, and Ph.D courses in the areas of Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The Institute is located in Sri City, about 60 KMs from Chennai on the Nellore Highway. The nearest airports are Chennai (70 KMs) and Tirupati (70 KMs). IIIT Sri City was established in the year 2013. IIIT Sri City admission can be done on bachelor' and Master' degree Programs. IIIT offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MS, and Ph.D courses in the areas of Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. IIIT Sri City UG Admission 2025
IIIT Sri City offers Undergraduate Programs focused on Information Technology – B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (200 seats) and B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (70 seats). Admission is based on a joint entrance examination (JEE Main). Admissions are open to all classes, religions, races, and genders including transgender. B.Tech admissions into CSE and ECE programs are done through JoSAA. Based on the merit ranking in JEE Main, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) or the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) invites candidates for an online counseling session to choose the institute of their choice. Admission to the proposed course requires minimum marks in 10+2 or equivalent and minimum marks in the qualifying examination and JEE score. This will be a four-year program. Details regarding admission criteria and eligibility are as follows.

IIIT Sri City offers PG course of M.Tech. M.Tech in AI and Machine Learning is a two-year program in IIIT Sri City offered by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Admission criteria/policies for the M.Tech programs will be decided by the Senate following the guidelines issued by the MHRD, Government of India from time to time. M.Tech is a two year degree program offered by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
