The Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing Kancheepuram offers financial aid in the form of scholarships and education loans to students. Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions set by the college to avail the scholarships. The college awards scholarships based on academic merit and family income. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship of Rs 1,000 per month is awarded to 25% of eligible B.Tech students whose household income is less than Rs 4.5 lakh per annum. They are also exempted from paying tuition fees.

SC/ST Scholarship

SC/ST students admitted to the B.Tech course and whose household income is less than Rs 4.5 lakh per annum are eligible for mess charge concessions and exempt from paying hostel seat rent. They are given a monthly pocket allowance of Rs 250. They are also exempted from paying tuition fees.
Under top-tier education scholarship schemes, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has allocated ten new slots for SC students and ten new slots for ST students.

Institute free Studentship

Institute free Studentship (IFS) scholarships are awarded to 10% of eligible B.Tech students in IIITDM Kancheepuram with a household income of less than Rs 4.5 lakhs. They are also exempted from paying tuition fees.

Education Loans

All the leading banks offer pre-approved education loan facilities to students.
