Placements & Internships : I didn't do any internship till now. Key companies which came here for the placements- Fr8, L&T, IVTK, HCL, Orzota, Saint Gobain, TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. Average salary - INR 4.5 lakhs per annum Highest package - INR 10 lakhs per annum.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria: - One must secure at least 75% (65% for SC, ST) in 12th board exam or be in the top 20 percentile of class 12th exam by the respective board. One must take JEE MAIN. Entrance examination- JEE MAIN Cutoff- It depends upon which branch you are taking. There are only 4 core branches in this college which are Computer Engineering, Electronic and Mechanical and Smart Manufacturing. Both B.tech and 5-year dual degree courses are here. For computer engineering- it ranges from AIR 8000 to 11000 (in JEE MAIN) For electronics engineering- it ranges from AIR 11000 to 15000 (in JEE MAIN) . For Mechanical engineering- it ranges from AIR 13000 to 18000. For Smart Manufacturing - it ranges from AIR 18000 to 22000.

Fees & Scholarships : Course fee pee year- Around INR 1.8 lakhs per annum. Some financial assistance are there for meritorious students and scholarship for SC, ST students are there. Loans are generally not required but if it is, then it's not much difficult to get.

Academics & Faculty : Daily routine- Classes starts from 8 AM in the morning and get over in the afternoon 1 PM. Lab sessions are there in the afternoon and beta over at 4:30 PM. Professors are really nice and supportive here. Method of teaching is really nice. Overall, it's nice to be here at IIITDM Kancheepuram.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 4 hostels are there on the campus. Hostels are really nice and equipped with LAN bcz all were made in the recent years. Food is fine. Per meal, it cost around INR 40. In terms of infrastructure, this college is really good and ahead of many in the country. So, classrooms, labs, library, dining hall are available which are really nice.

Clubs & Associations : There are various clubs active in the college which really creates a learning by doing environment. There are technical as well as cultural clubs. Some of the keys are - Zerone club, Designers club, Robotics club, EPIC, Electronics club, Music club, dance club, drama club etc. There is one annual techno-cultural fest in the college named Samgatha.
