• NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 Exam Dates. The first session exam dates are January 22 to January 31, 2025, and the second session is scheduled from April 1 to April 8, 2025.
• The last date for JEE Main 2025 registration is November 22, 2024. Applicants must visit the official website of NTA, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BHOPAL (IIIT-Bhopal), is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (PPP) in the country, set up with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research, and training in various fields of Information Technology. To address the challenges faced by the Indian IT industry and the growth of the domestic IT market, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India intends to establish twenty Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) on a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) basis.

The partners in setting up the IIITs would be the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), the Governments of the respective States where each IIIT will be established, and the industry. On the same line, the INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BHOPAL (IIIT-Bhopal) is a newly established Educational Institute by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, and a few industry partners as a Not-for-profit Public-Private Partnership (N-PPP) Institution.

IIIT Bhopal UG Courses

IIIT Bhopal courses are offered in Engineering and also in Management Programmes. The UG courses include B.Tech.

IIIT Bhopal PG Courses

IIIT Bhopal offers postgraduate courses in engineering and computer applications. The PG course offered in M.Tech is offered in engineering in two formats- Full-time and part-time. The specializations offered by the institute for the full-time postgraduate course are given below. 

IIIT Bhopal Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates seeking admission at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal must check their eligibility before applying. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

IIIT Bhopal Admission:

Candidates seeking admission at IIIT Bhopal admission must check their eligibility criteria before applying. Candidates must pass +2 in the science stream from a recognized board or university with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Candidates must pass the Joint Entrance Exam [JEE advanced/main] with a valid score. Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal admission is done online and is based on the score secured both for the higher secondary examination and JEE advanced/main. The admission procedure in B.Tech for IIIT Bhopal is mentioned below:

• The application form for all the courses offered by the college is online mode.
• Admission will be done through the Central Seat Allocation Board and Joint Seat Allocation Authority, Government of India.
• The admission fee of INR 16500 has to be deposited at the time of admission.
• The selection of candidates will depend on the score obtained in JEE Main.

IIIT Bhopal Placement:

As noted during the 2024 placement campaign, the placement rate was 60%. A total of 135 students took part in the IIIT Bhopal placement in 2024, and 81 of them were placed. More details are given below:

• The highest package offered was INR 34.4 LPA.
• The average package offered was INR 12.33 LPA.

IIIT Bhopal Cutoff

IIIT Bhopal Scholarship:

IIIT Bhopal Infrastructure:

The classes of IIIT Bhopal will be conducted at the New Teaching Block of MANIT Bhopal till any further orders from competent authorities. The academic and other facilities of MANIT Bhopal will be shared with the students of IIIT Bhopal as per availability and requirements.

Hostel facilities for only 1st-year boys students and girls students of all years will be separately provided at the Hostels of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal on its campus. It is a new college, so we don't have a campus. It is running in MANIT Bhopal. So we can use their facilities like computer labs, canteen, Wi-Fi, library, auditorium, and sports complex. The quality of the facility is excellent, but only one problem, which is a time issue since we share with MANIT. And that's why some facilities we can get at a specific time only, like a sports complex, are not available after 5 pm and other things like that. Hostel facilities are not excellent but acceptable to live in. Classes are being held in MANIT, and we have a separate computer lab. We share labs with the MANIT. Sports facilities are also shared with MANIT. Our college supports us in participating in any sports event. It's a new college started by MHRD. Now, there was no permanent campus for our college. 

IIIT Bhopal Hostel Details:

There is a Hostel facility for only 1st-year boys students, and girls students of all years will be separately provided at the Hostels of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal on its campus. Hostel fees are 56000 for the even semester and 50000 for the odd semester. Hostel fees are high, as in hostels, good facilities are not available, and students face a lot of problems related to food, water, etc. Hostel fees are a lot. I would recommend not going to a hostel. There are hostels provided 18km away from MANIT Bhopal, which is on the RGPV campus; a bus facility is provided for drop, and a single room is offered to students of 1st-year students only hostel for 2nd,3rd, and 4th-year students.There is a Hostel facility for only 1st-year boys students and girls students of all years will be separately provided at Hostels of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal in its campus.
