IIM Nagpur was established in 2015 to provide top-notch management education to the students enrolled and, hence, to produce global managers and leaders who have a stronghold of management concepts.

IIM Nagpur is one of the members of The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business  (AACSB). The institute had shifted to its new campus spread over an area of 132 acres recently.

According to the NIRF 2024 Rankings, IIM Nagpur ranks 31st in the management category. The institute offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) for Indian and international candidates. It also offers Executive MBA and Ph.D. programs.

Around 280 students were admitted to the IIM Nagpur MBA program in 2024. Also, the total fee for the IIM Nagpur MBA program is INR 18.90 Lakhs for the academic session (2024-26). This is the fee excluding the refundable caution deposit of INR 50,000.

During the IIM MBA Placement Season for the academic batch (2023-25), around 262 students were placed. The median CTC offered to the students was INR 16 Lakhs.

IIM Nagpur Courses & Fees

IIM Nagpur offers MBA, EMBA, and Ph.D. programs to its students. The IIM Nagpur MBA program is a two-year full-time residential program and the institution's flagship course. The executive MBA offered by IIM Nagpur caters to the learning requirements of mid- to senior-level executives who wish to upgrade themselves without pausing their existing careers. IIM Nagpur Admission

IIM Nagpur admissions ensure the selection of the best candidates through its rigorous selection procedure. The institute accepts scores from entrance examinations like CAT, GRE, UGC-NET, UGC-JRF, CSIR–JRF, and CSIR-NET to select the final candidates for its MBA, Executive MBA, and PH.D programs.

This year, around 99 seats were available for general category candidates who wished to seek admission to the IIM Nagpur MBA program. Similarly, around 28 EWS category candidates, 42 candidates belonging to the SC category, 21 Scheduled Tribe candidates, and 76 OBC candidates could be admitted.

Around 45.45% of the students who enrolled for IIM Nagpur MBA (2023-25) batch admissions were freshers. Further, around 29.17% of the students enrolled had a work experience of less than 12 months. The average work experience of the students who applied at IIM Nagpur for MBA enrollments in the academic session (2023-25) was around 20.5 months.

• The basic admission process for the IIM Nagpur MBA program involves shortlisting candidates who have applied to CAP through valid CAT scores. Then, the final list of candidates is selected based on personal interview scores and other qualifying factors like academic merit, relevant work experience, and so on.
• For Executive MBA admissions, the admission process involves the candidates first filling out the application form and completing the primary eligibility criteria. Further, the admit cards are issued for the IIMNAT examination, which is the major qualifier round. The candidates are required to appear further for a personal interview round on the basis of their IIMNAT Scores.
• Candidates who wish to be admitted to the Ph.D. courses at IIM Nagpur must first fill out an admission form in detail before the due date. Those meeting the eligibility conditions are then selected for a personal interview, which is the final admission round.

IIM Nagpur Cutoff

IIM Nagpur cutoff for the MBA program depends on the qualifying CAT percentile score to be secured for admission. The candidates should meet the minimum cutoff score criteria in order to further appear for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The general category aspirants who are planning to be admitted to the MBA program offered at IIM Nagpur in 2025 must have secured a minimum of 92 percentile in the CAT 2024 examination.
