December 20, 2024

• The CAT 2024 results are now available on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. Conducted on November 24, the exam saw 14 candidates achieving a perfect 100 percentile, including one female. Additionally, 29 candidates scored 99.99 percentile, and 30 scored 99.98 percentile. Candidates can download their scorecards online and proceed with MBA admission processes based on cutoffs.

• IIM Sambalpur revamped its MBA admission process for 2025, controlling admissions independently for its flagship MBA and the new MBA in Business Analytics (MBA-BA) program. The process emphasizes merit-based selection on the basis of CAT 2024 scores, academics, experience, and gender balance. Interview formats are flexible and are available as online interviews or as an in-person interview in Sambalpur or Delhi. There are also dual degree options with AIT Bangkok.

• IIM Sambalpur, in association with Project Point, Odisha, conducted a one-day youth summit focused on leadership, innovation, and tourism development. With 400 delegates from 28 states, 3 Union Territories, and 22 countries, the event was held. Keynotes focused on the empowerment of youth and the promotion of heritage and tourism potential of Odisha, with speakers from various sectors highlighting the role of youth in tourism development.

• The result of CAT 2024 is expected very soon, with the final answer key coming out today. The Directorate of IIM Calcutta will announce CAT results in a day or two.

• IIM Sambalpur, in collaboration with NSE Academy, hosted an interactive roundtable discussion on AI, digitalization, and branding strategies. Over 35 industry leaders from top firms joined in the discussions involving AI-led consumer insights, digital transformation, and sustainability in the business. Director Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal emphasized the integration of AI into education, while the leaders stressed the significance of innovation and aligning core values with technology to survive compulsion.

• IIM Calcutta will soon announce the CAT 2024 results. The results are expected within the next week, following the exam on November 24, 2024.Candidates can download their scorecards from the official website by logging in with their User ID and Password. The scorecard will be valid until December 2025.

• The CAT 2024 results will be out soon. Candidates can check their results by logging into the official IIM CAT website. With 2.93 lakh candidates and a relatively easier exam this year, cut-offs may rise. For updates and to download the result, visit the official site at https://iimcat.ac.in/.

• The challenge window for CAT 2024 answer key will close today. The contenders wishing to raise objections against the provisional answer key have to submit their challenges till 11:55 PM. No applications will be accepted after the deadline is over. Processing any challenge is expected before the deadline closes so that all discrepancies come to the fore.

December 3, 2024

• IIM Calcutta will start the CAT 2024 answer key challenge process today, December 3, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Candidates who have objections to the official answer key for the exam conducted on November 24, 2024, can submit challenges by filling out an online application form. Further details and guidelines for the process will be available on the official website.

December 2, 2024

• CAT 2024 result can be expected by December 14 or December 20, 2024. IIM Calcutta has not announced the CAT 2024 result date. However, if the institute follows the trend of previous years, one can expect the CAT result 2024 to be out by the said dates.

• IIM Calcutta releases candidate data for CAT 2024. According to statistics, 3.29 lakh candidates who were eligible registered, but only approximately 2.93 lakh candidates appeared in the test held on November 24, 2024, at the national level.

• IIM Calcutta conducted the CAT 2024 exam in three slots on 24 November 2024. Most of the candidates found the exam to be comparatively easier than previous years. This has led to predictions of a significant rise in the CAT cutoff, causing anxiety among test-takers about their chances of securing admission to top MBA programs at IIMs.

• What should you do in the last few minutes before the CAT 2024 exam. Candidates who have got morning slot, can’t do much but wake up early and reach their test centre by 7 am on November 24, 2024. They will have to do last minute revision a night before. But candidates who have got afternoon and forenoon shift can do some las minute preparation. Here are a few CAT 2024 last minute tips to score high.
