Entrance Exams & Admissions : We had to clear the joint entrance exam JEE to get into the institution which was the sole criterion of our selection, the typical cutoff for my branch was the somewhere between 8000 to 9000 rank

Fees & Scholarships : Fees are 2 lacs per year and scholarships are available to a student whose monthly income is less than a certain figure. Nearly 50 percent of the students take scholarships. Loans are required. They can be easily taken from various banks.

Academics & Faculty : The day starts at 8 and ends at 5 in the evening. We have 3 exams in 4 months. The assignments are frequent and tough. Quality of teaching is great and a board is usually used to teach.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 3 hostels all with attached bathrooms. PGs are available outside in the city. Mess food is good for south Indians but a bit poor for north Indians. All classrooms and labs are well equipped with latest equipment. WiFi is available for free.

Clubs & Associations : We have Literary Arts society, Akshar Dance club, sing to beat Drama club, curtain call Music club, vadya Photography club, shutterbug Mechanical engineering students association, MESA
