IIT Roorkee has an elegant green campus, and it is well maintained throughout the year. The university provides the necessary amenities to the students for a better learning experience. More details regarding the IIT Roorkee facilities are given below.

Clubs: The indoor sports facilities include seven billiards & snooker tables, carrom boards, chess boards, table tennis, and a foosball table. Additional sections are dedicated to stargazing, philately and numismatics, and robotics in the hobbies club. Reading areas with various newspapers and light publications are also available in the clubs. Each club has a TV room with seating for around a hundred people.

Sports Facilities: The following sports facilities are offered at the institute.

Hostels: There are 10 boys hostels, 6 married hostels,3 girls hostels and one co-ed hostel. Each hostel has a state of art cybercafe, canteen and wifi connectivity. All IIT Roorkee hostels are peaceful and clean.

Eating Hubs

• There are various eating hubs located throughout the IIT Roorkee campus. These promote important student relationships and are frequently seen bursting with activity.
• The Georgia cafe's proximity to the new lecture hall complex, the students club, and several dormitories assure a wonderful hub of activity.
• Cafe Coffee Day, an Amul parlour, and the Sattviko Idea Cafe are all located within the multi-activity centre. In addition to offering meals, the concept cafe serves as a student discussion centre, with a conference room and a relaxation area.
• Several similar eateries on campus, including the alphar cafe and numerous hostel cafes, are available.
• Fresh fruit kiosks and IIT Roorkee canteens with wide seating areas are available in each hostel for students to eat and mingle with their peers.
• There are night cafes such as the Shri Balaji Cautley Bhawan Cafe for late-night hunger pangs, which is open from 2 am to 2 pm.

Banks: The Punjab National Bank and the State Bank of India have branches on campus. The banks offer centralised banking services, internet banking and ATM services. Every Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee student must open an account with one of the two banks upon admission. Apart from this, numerous banks have branches and ATMs in the town or off-campus.

Post Office: The IIT Roorkee Infrastructure campus features a post office, which is conveniently located near the UG club. The post office is well-equipped and serves the needs of both students, professors, and visitors to campus. The post office is open from 9 am to 5 pm. on weekdays and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.

Institute Hospital: IIT Roorkee has a 50-bed hospital that provides outpatient, emergency, inpatient care, laboratory, x-ray, and ECG services to faculty, staff, and students. Ambulance services for referring patients to higher centres are in excellent working order.

Security: The university is well-protected and enclosed by boundary walls. Security guards are stationed at each entrance gate, inspecting all cars entering the site. In addition, a number of security booths maintain a close eye on the campus. Security complaints should be filed with the security office.

Guest House: Guests and delegates who visit the college can stay in one of three guest houses on campus.
