Facilities :-

Hostel 

Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Apart from all well furnished rooms with attached toilet and other amenities color TV, Computer & Internet facilities, Newspaper & Magazines. Both non-vegetarian & vegetarian food is available on the basis of requirement of the students. Good hygienic condition is strictly maintained both in the food and living conditions. Hostel superintendents supervise the functioning of the Hostels regularly.

Computer Facilities       

Indus has a well equipped computer lab connected with a wireless LAN. The wireless LAN makes it possible for any faculty member or student to easily connect to the campus network.

Internet facility is provided through a wireless link and is available for all students for conducting online research. Internet access is also available in the hostels.

A Computer Maintenance Cell takes care of all the hardware and software problems of the computer hardware located in campus and in the hostels.

Every student is provided their own email-ID under the college domain name for their personal and academic use.

Students who wish to purchase their own desktops or laptops will be assisted by the college in finding the lowest cost vendors and in getting good maintenance contracts. The students can also avail the services of the Computer Maintenance Cell for their H/W and S/W problems.

The college maintains a strong interest in open source software and will endeavor to promote and provide open source software because of its appropriateness for a developing country like India. Every student is provided a CD containing the latest versions of open source software. They will be trained in the use of these software tools.

Wifi Campus

The college has a 24 hours leased 3 mbps (Broad Band) internet connectivity. The departments are networked with LAN/WAN, connecting all the labs, staff rooms and library. The Network Operations Centre is equipped with five IBM servers and one HCL Net Manager configured as file servers and hosts for the different softwares. Ample computing facilities are provided linking each student with a PC. There are more than 600 computers with latest configuration in all the labs.

The campus has become a WIRELESS CAMPUS by implementing WI- FI technology ie students and staff of Indus can access the complete network and browse internet sitting anywhere in the campus by using LAPTOPS.

Transport Services         

Transport services will be provided to all the students who need transportation and have applied for transportation in Requisite Application Format. The bus routes are fixed according to the pattern of the students' location's. Transport Service available from every corner of the City. Beside this college also provides buses to Cuttack. This bus operates all the seven days of week as per a schedule notified from time to time. Transportation facility is also available every time for any kind of emergency.

The Workshop 

Workshop practice is an essential part of every engineer's training. Our large and well equipped workshop is designed to make this an interesting and fruitful experience for all the students.

The Laboratories             

The laboratories are well equipped to handle all the experiments of the B.Tech. and MCA courses under BPUT. They have been designed by professionals with vast experience in the area of laboratory training and setup.

Health Care       

Our medical center is headed by a Senior Medical Officer to take care of first aid and to provide basic medical amenities to all our students. In addition, several wellness workshops are conducted to train students to handle their own health issues in the best possible manner.

The well-equipped gym offer ideal platform for daily workout. Our Hi-tech gym is located in our college campus. Gym is a complete fitness centre that provides facilities for Fitness, Weight Reduction, Weight Training, Executive Fitness Programme. A well trained fitness instructor provides fitness training to all students and associates.

Blood Donation Camp

In Indus, we have always set trends for others to follow. Be it academics, sports or philanthropic activities, Indus has always had a lion’s share in everything. Adding luster to our humanitarian side, blood donation camp are organized time to time by our associates and students. Our associates and students participated with much enthusiasm in the philanthropic event.

Canteen              

The canteen is serving at its best of a unique recipe for the staff and day scholars. The food is qualitative and it’s available in a very balanced rate. The canteen has the capacity to accommodates 300 students to serve the food at a time. The fooding system creates an utmost satisfaction to the pupil’s need and desire. There are also two refreshment center, Cafeteria which is opened in the academic building. Its serves tea, coffee and snacks to great extent.

Besides these we have in home photocopier & Stationary Centre.

The Library        

We believe that a good library is one of the greatest asset of a college. The library has a large collection of technical books. In addition, we also have a large collection in English Literature which is essential to help the students to develop their communication skills. An extensive digital library stocks hundreds of titles comprising of training CDs, Indian and Foreign films, software related materials, etc. Students are encouraged to suggest names of the books to be acquired by the library.

Cafeteria            

Institute's cafeteria is one of the most demanding places for the students as well as Staffs which nurtures a vociferous demand during and after the busy academic sessions. The students here relish toothsome dishes of desserts and viands to quench their untiring thirst and hunger. The wholesome and hygienic cuisine prepared by a bunch of chefs at a very less price makes the cafe more enchanting and enjoyable spot.

Gym
