Facilities :-

Hostel                   

The Institute has separate hostel buildings, two dedicated for the boys and one for the accommodation of girls. All the Hostels has the facility of three, and single sharing rooms. Three sharing rooms are allotted for the first years and 2nd years students. Single rooms are allotted to third year students as per merit.. All the Hostel rooms are spacious,airy,well lit with all required hostel facilities.

Library                  

IHM Guwahati can self boost for its well collected library. The library has the reading capacity of 100 students together in an approximate area of 3500 sq.ft. The total books and periodical collection is approximately 7,000. The library is accessible to students and staff. The student can borrow the books in exchange of the library card and keep the book for 72hrs.        

Auditorium          

All campus presentation is delivered from the auditorium. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned with a seating capacity of 400 students. The auditorium is also equipped with most modern audio visual facilities.IHM Guwahati is proud of its Auditorium facility.         

Conference room           

A well appointed conference room with audio visual facilities is frequently used for the purpose of group discussion, seminars, meetings etc.               

Laundry                 

This section is well equipped with modern sophisticated machines  such as Calendaring machine, Hydro extractor, Dryer, Hot press iron, Steam press, Spotter, etc. These facilities are used by the students to acquire knowledge and skill to be a professional to manage the hospitality industry.              

Medical Room

The Institute has a medical room at the 1st floor of the college building. Twice in a week the medical room is attended by an experienced professional. These medical facilities are availed by the day scholar and the hostel students. In an emergency the college doctor is also available to attend the patients. The medical room is equipped one medical bed, first aid facilities and medicines to deal any emergency situation.

Computer Lab

The Institute has two well-equipped Computer Lab which can accommodate thirty students at a time. Individual PC stations help enable the faculty to focus on the learning outcomes of each student separately and to provide corrective coaching for the desired level of practice.

The students of Semester 1 are imparted training related to the computer as per syllabus laid down by NCHMCT.

All the computers has the internet facilities and the lab 2 computers are provided with IDS soft ware whereas the Lab 1 computers has the Fidelio facilities to learn about function keys or basic Fidelio operations.
