IMT Nagpur admission 2025 is offered for PGDM courses in different specializations. The institute provides admission to these courses based on valid CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT scores. CAT 2024 will be conducted on November 24, 2024. XAT 2025 registrations will close on November 30, 2024, and the exam will be held on January 05, 2025.

The total number of seats for PGDM at IMT Nagpur is 360. Since IMT Nagpur doesnot offer any reservation on any of these seats, the cutoff for admission is based on the pool of applicants.

IMT Nagpur PGDM Admission 2025

IMT Nagpur PGDM admission 2025 is provided in three courses: Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Marketing (PGDM - Marketing), and Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Financial Management (PGDM - Finance).

The IMT Nagpur PGDM programs are 2-year courses with a total of 6 semesters. The course offers various major and minor electives in the second year. 

IMT Nagpur PGDM Eligibility Criteria 

• The eligibility criteria for the IMT Nagpur PGDM program are given below:
• Interested students must have an aggregate of 50% in graduation or equivalent from a recognized university or institute. 
• Applicants must have valid scores on any of the managerial entrance exams- CAT/XAT/CMAt or GMAT. 
• Applicants in their final year of graduation can also apply for admission to the PGDM program however, they have to submit the final scores and mark sheet at the office at the given date. 

Selection Process for IMT Hyderabad PGDM

The steps for the selection to the IMT Nagpur PGDM program are given below:

Step 1: Entrance Exam

• Applicants must appear in one of the given entrance exams. Applicants would be required to submit valid scores of the entrance exam. 
• However, scoring above the minimum required marks doesnot guarantee admission and is only meant for the shortlisting process. 
• Applicants with high scores of CAT/XAT etc, would be encouraged to appear for the IMT Common Admission Process. 

Step 2: Application Form

• Once the application forms are available on the official website of the institute, students must fill in the application. 
• Applicants must also fill in the scores of the results of the entrance test. 

Step 3: Shortlisting

• Once the application forms are submitted, applicants are shortlisted based on their CAT/XAT scores, and academic history. 
• Candidates with prior job experience will be given additional points in addition to this. The requirement is that candidates have at least 24 months of full-time job experience and must be employed by reputable domestic and international multinational corporations.
• Applicants with exceptional work experience in one of the BSE/NSE listed companies with a turnover of 1000 Crore will have the cut-off score reduced for admission. However, work experience is not compulsory for any of the PGDM courses. 

Step 4: Personal Interview and Critical Thinking

• After that, students will be invited to participate in offline interviews and critical thinking sessions that include a variety of assessments and one-on-one conversations. 

Step 5: Final List

• The final list of selected students will be released and students are called in for the rest of the admission processes. 
• Students will be asked to pay the admission fee to block their seats.
