Placements & Internships : JEC has a good record of placements. Every year the average annual package is close to Rs 4 lakh. The highest package for 2016 was Rs 8 lakh given by Mu Sigma. Placement percentage is above 80% for a batch. TCS,BSNL,Mu Sigma, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, Cipla are the main companies that visit here. Manager of BSNL is from JEC. HCL manager is from JEC.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for admission in JEC is that candidate must appear in JEE Main exam and should score rank under the cutoff. 1st step to admission is to appear in MPDTE counselling which is conduct by MP government. We have to fill our choices for admission. After the counselling result comes we have to go to the respective college for completing the next process JEE Main is important for taking admissions to MP colleges. Cut off are different for different categories and different branches For EC it's under 70k CRL rank for general category.

Fees & Scholarships :   The course fee per semester is Rs. 11150 for every branch at JEC. For people with a lower income, a scholarship is provided by MP government. There is no need for a loan. If needed SBI, UBI and PNB are better options.

Academics & Faculty : At JEC the classes start at 10:30 AM till 5:00 PM.  There are so many labs for practicals. Assignments and projects are given to each student. Teaching quality is good. The faculties are highly educated. The overall experience in the college is good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : JEC has 12 Hostels. One for girls and the other twelve for boys. One hostel is for ME Students. One hostel is reserved for first-year students. The infrastructure and quality of hostels are good. The fee is very less just Rs. 2700 per annum for the general category. The other options are PG and private hostels nearby the college. They rent Rs. 2000 per month. Food is available at Hostel mess. The quality of Classrooms and labs are very good. Library of JEC is one of the biggest libraries in MP. It contains a lot of books. Wifi is available at the college.

Clubs & Associations : Musical group at JEC organises so many programs in college. Drama club Azan perform dramas. JEC has a Robotics club. Aureoleanis a annual fest of college. Prapanch is a new fest organised by 1st-year students. Hindi Bhasa Rastra Sabha is a committee which organises Hindi related programs in college. Sports Events take place here which includes all the local colleges.
