Scholarships and Prizes
The central and state government has sanctioned around 14 stipends and scholarships to ST/SC students. The students who are toppers in their branches in the seventh semester are awarded a gold medal. A gold medal is given to the girl who is the topper in her branch.
Cultural and Technical Activities
The college annually organizes a national level technical cum cultural fest named as “Aureole[1]” which means the light behind the darkness. “Audy” is being introduced as the mascot of this fest created by the college students.
The Aureole’10 was one of the biggest tech cum cult fest of Central India. It had more than 52 technical and cultural events including the biggest “Moshpit 1.o” Rock Band Competition with 15 bands from all over India. In 2010 “Euphoria” performed in the professors night.
A technical team in the college known as “Netrix” creates web based applications. Almost all the departments have online forums to discuss news and exchange information.
