The average salary was 7.5 LPA and the highest salary was 60 LPA. The Alumni network of Jadavpur University plays a vital role when it comes to placements and internships.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for a student who wants to take admission in Jadavpur University (Faculty of Engineering and Technology) is that one should get an average of 60% in his board exams and he should be at least 17 years old. The entrance exam was WBJEE The typical cutoff for pharmaceutical technology was a GMR(General Merit Rank) around 2000.

Fees & Scholarships : Jadavpur University, Calcutta Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 10,510 per year. Scholarship options are mainly meant for the candidates of the Reserved categories. The best Scholarship was provided by the Alumni network. It depends on family income. Then, one had to appear for a scholarship test and then if one gets selected, he will get the scholarships. In my opinion, no such loans are required.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings are from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For every subject that is present in a semester, one has to submit the projects given by the professors. Exams are held at the end of each semester and assignments are given by some of the professors. The quality of the professors is good. But, one has to attend the classes for getting the notes. One important thing I would like to mention is, the questions asked in the semester examination comes directly from the notes given by the professors. My overall experience in college is really good. One thing about Jadavpur University is that one will find better peer groups, and thus, the level of competition among the students is also very high.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are many hostels on our campus. The hostel fee is about Rs.75 per month. PGs and rent houses are also available around the campus. The food served on the canteen and mess is also good. There are 7 messes on the campus. Classrooms are a bit backdated. There are about 7 to 8 labs in each department. Jadavpur University has got the most reputed library known as the Central Library. Other than this, each department has got its library. We have 4 halls on our campus. The halls are used for organizing various programs. Wi-Fi network is also good.

Clubs & Associations : There are many societies and several clubs. There is a drama club, photography club, debate club, dance club, environmental club, and many more. Tech fest (held annually) - Srijan Cultural fest (held annually) - Sanskrit Sports- U-turn. Truly speaking, college life at Jadavpur University is awesome.
