Jaipur Physiotherapy College (MVGU) offers physiotherapy courses under its affiliation with the Indian Association of Physiotherapy (IAP). Initially starting with a BPT program, MVGU expanded to include a MPT and Ph.D. in 2012, along with a Fellowship Programme (FP) in 2018 to enhance skills. The university is UGC-recognized and was initially affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) until it became independent in 2012. The Physiotherapy Department at MVGU has been integral since its inception in 2004.

Jaipur Physiotherapy College and Hospital Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) :

• Duration:  4 years 6 months (including 6 months compulsory internship)
• Eligibility:  10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, minimum 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Citizenship:  Open to Indian Nationals (General Category) and foreign/NRI candidates.
• Entrance Test:  No entrance test is required. 

Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) :

• Duration:  2 years
• Electives:  Orthopedics, Neurology, Cardio Pulmonary Diseases, Sports, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Musculoskeletal Disorder and Sports.
• Eligibility:  BPT with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Citizenship:  Indian Nationals (General Category), Foreign/NRI candidates.
• Internship:  Must have completed the compulsory BPT internship.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physiotherapy :

• Duration: 3-6 years
• Eligibility: Postgraduate degree minimum of 55% marks

Fellowship in Physiotherapy :

• Duration: 1-2 years
• Electives: Manual Therapy, Knee Joint Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Spine Rehabilitation, Sports Injuries Management, Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation
• Eligibility: MPT from a recognized university
