UEM Jaipur Admission

Extensive Industrial Visits and Training at UEM Jaipur

In this semester, between January to April, students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur have gone through extensive industrial visits and training at various top industries. They could learn quite a lot, and this will come to big use to them for doing good in their career both in job seeking and doing good in the industry.

Electrical Engineering Department:

• WPC Project of Wind Power India - having 7.2 MW wind power plants situated at 900 m above sea level. The generated electricity is wheeled to the nearest grid sub-station through a 33 kV supply line and fed to the grid after stepping up to 132 kV

BPT Department:

• Synergy Artificial Limb Centre - orthotic and prosthetic devices and their hands-on customization on patients.

Civil Engineering Department:

• HNS Coaches Pvt. Ltd. - exposure on welding, electrical wiring, shearing and bending of metal sheets, pressing of metal sheets, etc. while designing luxury buses and trucks from the chassis (load-bearing framework).

Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Department in association with ISHRAE Jaipur Chapter:

• Glo Aire (Concept International Inc.) - offering of Cellulose Cooling Pads for Air Conditioning Devices along with Air Washers Industry, Coolers Industry, Poultry, and Greenhouse Industries.

Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Department:

• Heavy Water Plant, Kota under Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. - H2S-H2O exchange process developed indigenously with close interaction between Bhaba Atomic Research Centre and Heavy Water Board, indigenously developed solar energy based steam generator, basic working principles of Rana Pratap Sagar Dam.

The advantages of staying in a hostel and studying are that the students can do group study and always do peer comparisons.
