Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, [JIT] Chennai was established in 2011. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University. Merit Scholarships:

Scholarships are awarded to meritorious students, based on their academic performance at the qualifying examinations for freshers, and in the case of senior students, their performance during the previous academic year.

Waiver of Tuition Fee:

First-year students of Jeppiaar Institute who secure the highest marks in the 10+2 examinations have their entire tuition fee waived for the first academic year. Similarly, senior students are offered scholarships on the basis of their previous year's performance

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship:

Every academic year, several scholarships are awarded on the criteria of merit-cum-means.
