B.Tech

Admissions are merit-based, following the guidelines of the Admission Regulatory Authority, Government of Maharashtra, State CET Cell, and DTE. Candidates must register for CAP at cetcell.mahacet.org and submit the acknowledgement receipt along with the application form available on the institute’s website. Open Category fees apply for Institute Level Seats and CAP vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria

Maharashtra Candidates

Indian nationals with HSC (12th) in Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject (e.g., Chemistry/Biology/IT) with 45% marks (40% for reserved/EWS/PwD categories).

Must have a non-zero score in MHT-CET 2024 or JEE Main 2024.

OR Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology with 45% (40% for reserved categories).

All India/J&K/Ladakh Candidates

Same academic requirements with a non-zero score in JEE Main or MHT-CET 2024 (JEE Main preferred).

OR Diploma holders with required marks.

NRI/OCI/PIO/Gulf/Foreign Candidates

HSC or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject, securing at least 45%.

Note: Admission is provisional and contingent on meeting the 12th/HSC result deadlines. Failure to meet the criteria will result in admission cancellation, with fees forfeited.

Maharashtra State Candidates

• Indian nationals with a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university, securing at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories, EWS, and PwD candidates from Maharashtra).
• Must have a non-zero score in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET.

All India Candidature, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh Migrant Candidates

Indian nationals with a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree and at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories, EWS, and PwD candidates from Maharashtra).

Must have a non-zero score in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CAT, or CMAT.

NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals

Minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent.

Note: Additional criteria as per relevant authorities may apply.

M.Tech

Maharashtra State Candidates

• Indian nationals holding a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or Pharmacy from an AICTE-approved institution, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories, EWS, and PwD candidates from Maharashtra).
• Must fulfil the eligibility criteria defined by the respective University.
• A valid GATE/GPAT score is required, although non-qualified candidates can also apply.
• Sponsored candidates must have at least two years of full-time work experience in a relevant field.
• Preference will be given to GATE/GPAT-qualified candidates.

For NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology from an AICTE-approved institution with at least 50% marks.
• Must meet the eligibility criteria specified by the respective University.

Note

• Candidates awaiting final results may be granted provisional admission, contingent on passing the exam by the CET cut-off date.
• If seats remain vacant, non-GATE candidates may be considered with approval from the State CET Cell.
