Laboratories

Laboratories are equipped with modern instruments required for the regular courses.
Laboratories of Computer Science Department serve as a central facility of the college. The Department of Computer science has a good collection of software for several applications. The department has a hardware lab. Personal attention to every student is given in the lab. An ultra modern Bio-Technology lab has been set up at a cost of Rs. 50 Lakhs suitable for conducting experiment at P.G., Doctoral and Post-Doctoral levels. An ICT Lab has been set up with UGC assistance. A Language Laboratory has been set up to teach Communication Skills. Separate PG Block in III floor, complete with Class-rooms, Laboratories, Seminar hall and all other facilities has been established.

Hostel

The women’s hostel was established in the year 2006, with a motto of providing best facilities for girl students of our college. It is situated in the college campus which is spread over 8 acres with a lush green surrounding.  It is well connected by buses for visitors and it also resides beside the NH7.  It takes 10 min travel from railway station and 5 min from bus stand. The hostel has well maintained play ground and garden.

The hostel is well equipped with hygienic kitchen with spacious dining hall. And it has a capacity to accommodate 200 members with 2 and 3 beds. It is also provided with hot water facility round the clock by solar water heater. The hostel is well known for its ambience hospitality and high level security

Individual attention is given to all the students who are staying in the hostel. They are provided with hygienic, healthy vegetarian food pure drinking water throughout their stay.

Internet Facility, Reading room, Guest room,Indoor game facilities are also available.

National Service Scheme

To instill community-oriented service, the college has dynamic and dedicated NSS Unit. NSS helps students to get involved in social activities and infuses confidence and self-reliance among the students. The main aim of NSS is to involve students in nation building activities. NSS develops leadership qualities and enhances patriotism among students.

National Cadet Corps

The primary aim of NCC is to inculcate amongst college students sense of patriotism, discipline, punctuality and all that is required for making them an ideal human being. Besides drill and weapon training, NCC organises training programmes in adventure activities. The cadets have good incentives like reservation of seats in Engineering and Medical Colleges and other professional courses.

Co-curricular Activities

To strengthen the current academic and research tempo, supportive activities such as Seminars, Symposia, Workshops, Conferences and field visits are arranged throughout the year. Other activities such as Drama, Mono acting, Music, Quiz, Essay competition etc., are also conducted.
Alumni Association

The Alumni Association is a registered body and is very active. In association with NSS and NCC units the Association regularly conducts Blood Donation and Health Check up Camps. A database of all the final year students has been created and is updated from time to time.

Add on Courses- Career Oriented Courses

Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma Courses in Insurence Management, Tourisum, Animation, Tax Management, Horticulture, Industrial Micro-Biology, Electrical & Electronic Equipment Maintenance and Computerised Accounting . These programmes enable a student to acquire knowledge and skills in the area of his interest besides regular degree.
