Kalpataru Institute of Technology, Tiptur was established in 1986 with a view to providing technical education to the rural youth. Institute was established by the Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
KIT, Tiptur offers admission in various branches of engineering, to which students can apply on their official website. The college accepts scores of KCET, Karnataka PGCET, and COMEDK-UGET among other exams.
