Infrastructure :-

Situated on the Thanjavur - Pudukkottai Highway, The KCE campus spreads over 50 acres in a beautiful serene atmosphere ideally suited for technical education .The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are amongst very best. It is a wholly self-contained campus comprising of everything that students on campus would ever require. Come; see it to believe it.

Library

Library has 24063 volumes exclusively meant for academic purpose. Besides these, we have good Collection (Nearly 2500 Volumes) of Tamil books, Circulated to both student and staff members, with the aim or easing out their mind and make them to focus on academy side with relaxed mood. In addition to that we have palm leaves for display in Library, Stress the point to the student community how information are passed on to generation from ancient period. We have been subscribing three e-journals package  such as IEL, ASCE, ASTM and Springer (mech). We have been subscribing Seventy Four national journals. We have been a member of Delnet and British Council. Our Library gives enough backup to all academic activities, aimed at improving the standard of students  as well as staff members. Our Library environment creates ideal climate for students and staff members to carry on research activities which are further enhanced by Research and Development Department.

Internet Centre
The centre has 400 systems LAN connected BSNL Broadband dedicated leased line with 60MBps(1:1) The centre provides scanning and printing facilities. The centre is accessible for both staff and students.

Green, Serene &Peaceful Atmosphere
The KCE campus situated in a calm and quiet locate, with its beautifully Landscaped and carefully tended gardens, provides an ideal environment for a congenial learning experience.

Clean Hygienic Drinking Water
A water purifying unit has been installed In each floor of every block of the campus to provide clean and hygienic water of very high standards.

Generator
A standby power generators of 250 kVAand 125kVA is provided in the campus to take care of the occasional power shut down due to maintenance.

A Technologically Adept Campus
A campus-wide wireless computing network is in place that allows faculty, staff and students to log on to the Internet at any point of time. The Internet lab powered by dedicated leased lines (up to 2mbps) is open for students even after college hours to help them spend extra time to make use of the abundant information available on the Internet. This facility is available free of cost.

Hostel- A Home Away From Home
This is a campus that invites students out of their hostels to spend time after their classes amidst the green, serene atmosphere. Every effort has been made to provide the best possible facilities for students who live on campus. The girls get a safe and secure environment with exclusive study halls, entertainment room and access to sports facilities and library. They are put under the direct vigil of our Principal a lady warden. Delicious and hygienic food is served in-house at the hostel campus. The boys hostel also offers similar facilities. Under the strict yet friendly vigil of our in-house warden they remain in safe hands. A cable television Facility is provided in every block of the hostel campus.

Cafeteria
A cafeteria with modern facilities is available within the campus and is open for staff, students and visitors. A brand new 12,000sq.ft canteen block has been built to tackle the increased demand due to increase in number of students and also to improve the seating comfort of the mess hall. The modern kitchen utilities available at the cafeteria help reduce the time taken to prepare each meal and also to serve it hot.

College Transport
Colleges buses are well connected to all major areas of Thanjavur and its surrounding regions. Whether sufficient demand exists and no public transport is available, the Colleges is willing to provide transport. All the teaching and non-teaching staff can avail free transport facilities.

Healthcare
Healthcare facilities are available round the clock at the KCE Health Centre which is served by a visiting doctor and a full-time female nurse.

Safety And Security On Campus
The welfare of the staff and students is of utmost priority at KCE. Adequate safety measures have been taken throughout the campus. Sophisticated fire alarm systems and foam type extinguishers are strategically positioned throughout the campus. The whole campus is guarded round the clock by a team of well-trained security guards.
