KIIMS offers scholarships to motivate and inspire those students who endeavor to achieve their goals in life. The Institution since its inception, has helped thousands of students who had financial problems. KIIMS offers admission based on the following phases,

  •  AIBFEE Exam
  • GD/PI
  • Scoring Percentage in Board/University/equivalent examination  Sports, Cultural, R & D, Co-curricular, Social Service
  • Uttarakhand Domicile
  • National Level Entrance Tests

Phase – 1

Applicable for all courses, implemented in two paths:-

1)   Students get provisional admission with maximum possible scholarship. Students get provisional admission with maximum possible scholarship.

2)  Students get provisional admission with scholarship amount lesser in comparison to Path C (depending on the performance of the student and course in which he/she has applied for admission).

EARLY ADMISSION & PHASES OF FEES

Phase 2

  • This scholarship is subject to seat availability.
  • State wise scholarship shall be announced depending upon the results of different boards/ universities of different states respectively.
  • Dates can be preponed or extended for states where the results have already been declared or not been declared yet respectively.
  • For students, who are not eligible for state wise scholarship, scholarship available during Path E may be lesser than Path D (depending on the performance of the student and course in which he/ she has applied for admission).

Note- The reduced scholarship shall be updated prior to beginning of this path subject to the availability of seats.

Path F:

No Scholarship shall be awarded to any candidate during this path. NOTE: Path D, Path E, Path F will be applicable only if seats remain vacant.

Path A: AIBFEE applicable for all courses on the basis of Students’ Rank

  • Rank #1 cut-off of AIBFEE score.
  • Rank #2 cut-off of AIBFEE score.
  • Rank #3 cut-off of AIBFEE score.
  • Rank #4 cut-off of AIBFEE score.

Note: All other admission and scholarship policies of “Terms & Conditions” shall stand applicable.

SCHOLARSHIP BASED ON GD/PI

Path B – GD/PI:

  • GD/PI would be applicable for scholarships based on their results in Boards/University, etc.
  • Interviews shall be conducted for all the Paths of Admission and Phases as Follows:
  • On-Campus Face-To-Face Interview & Group Discussion
  • Face-To-Face Interview & Group Discussion in Offices
  • Web One-On-One Interview & Web Conference.
  • Telephonic Interview
  • The applicant applying through this path has to take a GD/PI (Rs.1000/- Fee) by filling an online/offline application form.
  • Scholarship based on percentage is distributed in four brackets according to the courses.

In Path C & B

  • 95% or above aggregate marks – 60% of Course fee
  • 90% – 94.99% aggregate marks – 40% of Course fee
  • 80% – 89.99% aggregate marks – 30% of Course fee
  • 70% – 79.99% aggregate marks – 20% of Course fee
  • 70% – 79.99% aggregate marks – 20% of Course fee

In Path D

  • 95% or above aggregate marks – 50% of Course fee
  • 90% – 94.99% aggregate marks – 30% of Course fee
  • 80% – 89.99% aggregate marks – 20% of Course fee
  • 70% – 79.99% aggregate marks – 10% of Course fee

SCHOLARSHIP BASED ON SPORTS, CULTURAL, R & D, CO-CURRICULAR, SOCIAL SERVICE

Scholarship on the basis of Performance in Sports:

  1. i) Represented India in International Sports -100% Scholarship on Course fee
  2. ii) Represented States in National Sports – 100% Scholarship on Course fee

iii)  Represented school at State/National Level – 50% Scholarship on Course fee

Scholarship on the basis of Performance in Co-curricular Activities:

  1. i) Represented India on International Stage – 100% Scholarship on Course Fee
  2. ii) Represented State on National Stage – 50% Scholarship on Course Fee

iii) Central/ State level Cultural Festivals – 20% Scholarship on Course Fee

  1. iv) Student Science Exhibition/ Drama/Quiz – 20% Scholarship on Course Fee
  2. v) National Talent Search Certificate – 20% Scholarship on Course Fee

Scholarship on the basis of Social Service

  1. i) National Service Scheme (NSS) – 20% Scholarship on Course Fee
  2. ii) National Cadet Corps Scheme (NCC) – 20% Scholarship on Course Fee

SCHOLARSHIP BASED ON THE UTTARAKHAND DOMICILE

  • Special scholarship is being awarded to the Uttarakhand Students.
  • Students from Uttarakhand will receive a 20% Tuition Fee Waiver on the course of their choice.
  • First hundred students regardless of their merit are entitled for this scholarship fee.
  • Students must produce valid domicile proof and Aadhar Card to avail the scholarship.

 SCHOLARSHIP BASED ON NATIONAL LEVEL ENTRANCE TESTS

Students applying through one of the following National Level Entrance Tests shall be eligible for Admission / Scholarship as per Path C.

  • JEE (Main) – Joint Entrance Examination
  • NEET– National Eligibility and Entrance Test
  • NATA– National Aptitude Test in Architecture
  • JEE (Main) Paper II – Joint Entrance Examination Paper II
  • CAT – Common Admission Test
  • CAT – Common Admission Test
  • XAT – Xavier Aptitude Test
  • MAT – Management Admission Test
  • CMAT – Common Management Admission Test
  • GATE – Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
  • GPAT – Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test
  • CLAT – Common Law Admission Test
  • LSAT – Law School Admission Test
  • UCEED – Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design
  • CEED – Common Entrance Examination for Design
  • ICAR – Indian Council of Agricultural Research

 TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP, ITS DIFFERENT PHASES AND EARLY ADMISSION

 1)  The scholarship shall be awarded based on aggregate marks of Class XII or bachelor’s result. In case of CGPA, it shall be converted according to CBSE/ICSE/National Board/UGC /University norms. If the conversion criteria is not mentioned in the mark sheet, then the following criteria shall be applicable:

2)  Scholarships in the bracket of 95% or more marks may be awarded to applicant who has obtained 10 CGPA.

3) Scholarships in the bracket of 90% to 94.99% marks may be awarded to applicant who has obtained 9.5 CGPA to 9.99 CGPA.

4)  If a student gets a scholarship from a government/NGO/other agency, the Scholarship amount would be restricted to the difference of the sanctioned amount by Govt./NGO/other agency and Scholarship at KIIMS. This decision is at the behest of the KIIMS Scholarship Committee.

5) Scholarships are based on early admission and are further subject to availability of seats, course applied, documents authentication as per requirement of the institution.

6) Scholarships based on performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co curricular, Social Service, etc. will only be awarded in the case of 9.99 CGPA.

7) Scholarship in the bracket of 80% to 89.99% marks may be awarded to applicant who has obtained 8.5 CGPA to 9.49 CGPA

8) Scholarship in the bracket of 70% to 79.99% marks may be awarded to applicant who has obtained 7.5 CGPA to 8.49 CGPA

Scholarship offered may be on different basis such as scholarship based on Uttarakhand Domicile, Scholarship based on percentage, Scholarship based on Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service etc. Scholarship based on AIBFEE or Qualifying examinations. But it can be availed only under one category. Also, Scholarships shall be applied at the time of application or till the last date of particular path or subject to seat availability. It shall not be allowed to change/apply at later stage. Curricular, Social Service, etc. will only be awarded in case of competition meeting the guidelines approved by the said organizations as mentioned on scholarship page. Students applying for admission through Scholarships will be required to upload documents/proof/certificates in the application portal after receiving login credentials for verification and authentication.
