DIT University also known as Dehradun Institute of Technology, is a private university in Dehradun and was established in 1998. DIT University offers courses at UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctoral levels. Admissions to these courses are based on entrance exams, including JEE Main, NATA, CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ and GATE scores.

DIT University has been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Apart from this, the university is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

DIT University Admission 2025

DIT University Uttarakhand admission 2025 eligible candidates for different programmes can download the application form from the official website. According to the set procedures for admission, either the eligible candidate will be selected directly based on merit or will carry on with further admission processes like counselling or interview.

DIT University admission in B.Tech. programmes are done based on the candidate’s JEE performance. Similarly, GATE and CAT marks are considered for admission in postgraduate courses like M.Tech. and MBA.

DIT University Eligibility Criteria

 The following is a list of some of the courses provided by the institute, along with their qualifying requirements:

DIT University UG Eligibility 

• Candidates must have 10th standard completed with a 60% score.
• Candidates must have 12th standard completed with a 60% score.
• Candidates must have a 60% average in Physics Chemistry Math English, Physics Math Bio English, or Physics Math English Computer in 12th to find themselves eligible for the B.Tech course.

PG Eligibility

• Candidates must have a 55% score in UG from a recognised college or university.
• A valid score in the qualifying examination.

PhD Eligibility

• Candidates must have 55% marks or CGPA 6/10 in the respective Master's Degree from a recognised college or university.
• NET/GATE/SRF qualified candidates will be preferred.
