Lachoo Memorial College of Science and Technology is an autonomous college affiliated to Jai Narain Vyas University. The college was founded in 1965 by Shri Mathuradas Mathur. The college is located on a sprawling 7-acre campus in the heart of the city. The college is recognized under sections 12(f) and 12(b) in the UGC act. It is the first and only college in Western Rajasthan to be awarded the A grade by NAAC and selected as a ‘College with Potential for Excellence’ by UGC. .Since its inception, the college has maintained a high academic standard and has successfully provided trained manpower to society.

Lachoo Memorial College of Science and Technology offers 5 different undergraduate courses in the fields of pharmaceuticals, science, commerce, business administration, and computer applications. The duration of all courses except the B.Pharm course is 3 years,  while the B.Pharm course is 4 years long.

Admission to the various undergraduate degrees is granted on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. Applicants should have passed their 12th standard examinations with at least 45% aggregate marks for B.Pharm and 50% aggregate for all other undergraduate courses. The minimum qualifying marks for Rajasthani applicants is 50%, while it is 60% for students from other states.

Students are offered various specializations in each course. The duration of all courses except the MCA course is 2 years, while the MCA course is 3 years long.

Admission to the various postgraduate degrees is granted on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. All applicants should have completed their bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study with at least 50% aggregate marks. The M.Sc course requires the applicant to score a separate 55% in the subject which they which to major in at the postgraduate level.

Admissions to the various courses offered at Lachoo Memorial College of Science and Technology are conducted online. All applicants are required to register themselves on the admission portal. The application fee is based on the LMCST fee structure. 

• The applicants should first register on the portal using their basic details- Name, Email, Mobile Number, and Aadhar Card Number. 
• An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
