Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H)

• Candidates must have passed in 10+2 examination and obtained a minimum of 50% marks (except SC category) in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from a recognized University.

• SC category candidates will be allowed a relaxation up to 5% of the requirement for General Category.

B.Tech (Dairy Technology)

• To get admission for B.Tech course at the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences applicant should have completed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (except SC category) of the subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board.

• SC candidates securing a minimum of 47.5% marks will be eligible to apply for admission into B.Tech.

• Applicant having B.V.Sc & A.H degree from an institute/college recognized by VCI is eligible to apply for the M.V.Sc Programme at the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar

• The candidates should have completed an internship of Bachelor programme and notification issued up to the date of counselling.

Ph.D

• The candidate must have obtained B.V.Sc&A.H degree from a college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and that college must be within the list of VCI Schedule of recognized veterinary colleges /institutes.

• The candidates must have completed a Master's programme with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognised University.

• The candidate must be registered with the State Veterinary Council.

General Requirements for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Application Process 2024

Applicants who are interested in courses which are provided by the Lala Lajpat Rai University admissions 2024 should apply for the courses with the following steps:

• The application form is available online. Candidates can download the application form by visiting the official website.

• Fill the application form with the relevant and required details.

• The entrance test fee includes counselling fee also.

• Filled admission form must be submitted through post/by hand in the office of Dean, PGS, LUVAS, Hisar by the due dates.

General Requirements for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Admissions 2024

• As mentioned on the official website the eligible candidates need to appear for the entrance test which will be conducted by the University.

• Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Test which will be conducted by LUVAS.

• Verification and submission of all the original documents along with self-attested photocopies at the time of document verification.

• Deposition of fees and other charges.

• Medical Examination.

• Documents that need to be submitted are as follows:

  • Matric Certificate with Date of Birth and father’s/mother’s name and 10+2 certificate from Board of School Education,  Haryana/C.B.S.E./ I.C.S.E./ any other Board considered approved/equivalent as a member by COBSE, New Delhi.

  • Admit Card issued by the concerned Education Board for 10+2 final examinations.

  • Haryana Resident Certificate, if required.

  • Character Certificate from the institute last attended.

  • Aadhar Card

  • The candidate must bring at the time of counselling two recently taken coloured 2.0"×2.0" size photographs as uploaded on the admission form.

  • The record of the entrance test/counselling shall be destroyed after six months

    of last counselling/cut off date except that related to any pending court case.

• There will be no entrance test for admission in Ph.D programme.
