Infrastucture / Facilities :-

The college believes in offering the best of the infrastructure equipped with the state of the art facilities for creating a healthy, cheerful and encouraging learning environment for the impending generation. The class rooms are equipped with Audio-Visual facilities for general lectures and at the same time to inculcate research habits in the students. The class rooms are also equipped with Wi-Fi internet service and each student is provided with electrical outlet for their laptops and is allowed to use this facility 24 X 7.

Facilities offered to the students comprises of:

Library

The LSR has its own library whose collection is growing at a high rate. It supports LSRs’ faculty members and students in enriching teaching, learning and research. It has an exclusive collection of more than 5000 books cover the subjects of Graphics, Construction, Design, Architectural theory, History, interiors, landscape, urban design, town planning, Interiors and Allied subjects of famous authors both from India and Abroad. It also subscribes various journals, magazines on Architecture and Interior Design and Decoration.

LSR has Library Committee which includes Principal, Head of the Department and subject expertise. Mr. Mandar Joshi, Senior Librarian; along with Mrs. Jagruti Sagvekar, Librarian; who along with subject teachers, books are purchased which are responsible for developing vision for LSR Library, its collection and for deepening the use of the library’s resources in teaching and research. Every year new magazines (National and International), Theory books are added more than worth Rs. 2 Lakhs. Students are allowed to refer the books in the library from 7.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 7.30 a.m. to 4.00p.m. on Sunday.

Computer Lab

L.S Raheja School of Architecture has PC based computer lab, which is available for use by LSR Students and Faculty. Computer lab is equipped with 40 PCs. The configurations of the computers are Core i5 with 4 GB RAM and 2 GB Graphic Card with 500 GB Hard. The computer lab is also equipped with facilities likes Printers, Scanner, Internet connection and wi-fi service. The server and nodes are protected by anti-virus software to ensure the security of important data. The computers are loaded with essential softwares such as AutoCad, Revit etc. The college intends to provide wireless LAN connectivity in the entire campus.

Computer Lab has dedicated visiting faculty Mr. Rajeev Mate, having an experience in teaching computer aided drawing tools, rendering techniques. He has vast experience of using up to date software programmes available for Architectural industry. Mr. Vinod Kamble is all the time kept up to date system analysis 24 X 7 for the students.

Material Bureau

College supports the technical education with Material Bureau having Material testing lab, structural laboratory, environmental science lab, etc. Lab is compulsory part of the education where a lot of experimentation and innovation takes place. It helps to understand students, building technology, different type of materials.

Auditorium

LSR has a Centrally Air Conditioned multipurpose auditorium with a 350 seat capacity at the ground floor. The students use the facility for the cultural events. Important formal functions are also held in auditorium.

Carpentry Workshop

The college has a wood and a metal workshop with necessary machines and tools. The students are introduced to workshop practice. Students are encouraged and learnt architectural model making to use the workshop facilities to get a hands-on experience in working with different materials.

Canteen

Institute has a cafeteria with a capacity of 100 seats on the Ground floor. It serves Indian and Chinese cuisine, snacks, hot beverages and soft drinks. It also has a fast food and snacks counter.
