Lucknow Christian Degree College was established in 1862. The college keeps a very long and proud history. The LCDC is older than Lucknow University. The college attracts its students with well qualified and dedicated teaching faculties. The Christian college, lko strives to provide quality education to the youth, especially the Christian youth, to enable them to make a positive contribution to Nation-building. LCDC provides a Christian environment for youth who wish to receive education in that environment.

LCDC offers various specializations through its courses in UG and PG programs. The objective of the LCD college is to provide teaching, charity, and worship under Christian beliefs and doctrines. Lucknow Christian Degree College admission can be done online/offline. Lucknow Christian College is affiliated to Lucknow University. The college is selected by the University Grants Commission [UGC] for the College Science Improvement Programme [COSIP] and the College Humanities and Social Sciences Improvement Programme [COHSSIP]. Games and Sports:

The Christian college encourages budding talents in sports and games. The college provides plenty of space for field events and games. LCDC has a well-maintained Basket-Ball court, Volley-ball court, Tennis court, and Athletic tracks. The college facilitates the encouragement of a high degree of excellence in games and sports.

National Cadet Corps:

Lucknow Christian College is one of the colleges actively involved in the NCC network in India. LCDC has witnessed the many ex-cadets of NCC inducted in the Armed Forces and also in civil organized. Christian College is playing its part in grooming future leaders. Naval wing of NCC at the college has brought laurels for the unit and the College. In many all India events, NCC contingent secured the first position and students of LCDC had been participating in the Republic Day parade at New Delhi as NCC Cadets.

LCDC Eligibility Criteria:

Lucknow Christian Degree College Admissions:

LCDC admissions are based on the Entrance examination that the college conducts for various courses. The students meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted based on the marks that they are obtained in the examination which is known as Merit Index. The admission list of the selected candidates will be put up on the college website. LCDC also conducts counseling for admission of several courses like B.Sc [Mathematics] and other courses. 

The students seeking admission for both undergraduate and postgraduate must register online on the official website of the college. The admissions in Lucknow Christian Degree College, Lucknow Uttarpradesh will also be based on the merit in intermediate examination. The college will interview several courses such as MA and other courses.

Documents to be Submitted:

1. Original mark sheets of High School and Intermediate or equivalent examinations.
2. Original Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate for regular candidates and Original center superintendent certificate for private candidates from the center at which he has appeared for Intermediate or equivalent examination.
3. Original Character Certificate. A Regular candidate will submit a character certificate from the Principal of the Institution last attended. Private candidates will submit a character certificate from a Gazetted Officer.

6. Gap Certificate / Affidavit One attested copy each of the above certificates. 
7.  Original Certificate for Privilege Marks.
