Health Care Centre: MIT Campus Chennai provides round the clock emergency medical care to members. The medical, counselling and health promotion services are intended to assist in staying healthy or improving health. It strives to improve the MIT healthcare experience by offering care with dignity, attention, and confidentiality.

Sports: Madras Institute of Technology campus has a separate sports complex to offer various sports activities for a students growth.

Hostel: Madras Institute of Technology provides excellent accommodation facilities for students. It offers room and food for resident scholars. The hostel has six blocks, including two for girls and four for boys. Other facilities regarding the MIT Chennai hostel are mentioned below.

• Madras Institute of Technology hostel provides separate kitchens for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
• Cooking with steam.
• Three dining halls with a combined seating capacity of about 500 students.
• Granite-top eating tables, water coolers, insect traps, UV lamps, and music playback facilities are available in all dining halls.
• The student mess committee decides on the menu and keeps track of the purchases. The mess bill is determined using the division system.
•  A 500 litre per hour reverse osmosis water treatment plant provides sanitary water to the entire campus.

Day Care Centre: MIT Chennai campus has a daycare centre serving approximately 25 children. It offers many programs for children regularly and adequate play facilities. In addition, the college provides various workshops, arts and crafts programs, and summer camps for a better experience. 

Co-operative Stores: All the stationery items like pens, pencils, notebooks, calculators, pen drives etc., are available in the co-operative stores.   

Library: MIT library Chennai has a reading space of 690 sqm. It contains a well-stocked library with 140 publications and 94,028 volumes of books in engineering and science areas. In addition, the library contains over 10,000 standards and 12,700 bound volumes of magazines. Book bank, reprography service, and information retrieval systems via intranet are available in the MIT library. Other services given by the library include lending, reference, interlibrary loan, internet browsing, and current awareness (CAS).

Lecture Hall: Madras Institute of Technology facilities include a lecture hall complex comprising many large halls for instruction. Unlike a standard classroom, which has a capacity of one to four dozen people, lecture halls often have a large capacity. The lecture hall complex has a sloped floor, allowing people in the back to sit higher than those in front, allowing them to view the professor. In addition, the lecture halls have excellent facilities for focusing the attention of a large group on a single point through an audio-visual presentation and equipment.
