Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for joining Malnad College of Engineering is to get through entrance exams like CET, COMED-K etc I cleared CET entrance exam to join the college. The typical cutoff is to get ranking below 20,000.

Placements & Internships : I have undergone training about advanced wireless communication at RTTC, Mysore Key companies that hire from our campus are Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, TDPS, Aricent, Allstates etc. Average salary figure per annum is 4 lakh per annum, and the percentage of students get placed is around 60% Alumini network is very good as our college has a history of more than 50years

Academics & Faculty : The class timings the on the branch and usually the college starts from 8:30 in the morning and ends at 5:30 in the evening. There will be three minors, one major and 2 assignments in each semester. There are two methods of teaching i.e, chalk and board and smart class. The overall experience in college was good because teachers were student friendly, very kind and had a good hold on every and every subject.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is history hostel for girls and undergone a hostel for boys and hostel fee per month is around 3000. The food in the college canteen is good and it costs Rs 50 per meal. The overall infrastructure of the college is good,1 main central library and branch libraries, training good wifi facility both in college and hostels.

Clubs & Associations : There are clubs like Eco, Rotaract, Leo, Literary, Technical and 2 organisations like Soul and cultural in the college. The two main festivals in the college are Malnad fest and Jamboree and there are many tech, eco and cultural events each semester. The college is surrounded with plush green planta and college atmosphere was very nice.
