Facilities :- 

The Central Library of Mangalam College of Engineering was established in the year 2002. It is fully automated with a rich collection of Books, National and International Journals, back volumes of journals, technical & general magazines, project reports, seminar reports and non-book materials like CD ROMs on Engineering and Management. This Library follows Dewey Decimal Classification System, Bar code based circulation process and OPAC Literature Search. This library provides on- line access to a large number of full text journals from various publishers. These e-journals are accessible on intranet to campus users only.

Membership of the library is open to Students, Teachers and Non Teaching Staff of this college. Library membership is free to all faculty, staff and students. 

Hostel               

Hostel for boys and girls with excellent amenities have been provided inside the college campus.. Both the hostels are provided with spacious mess halls and modern kitchens.. Caring wardens and tight security ensures a pleasant stay, allowing students to focus on their studies. 

Detailed thought and consideration has gone in to provide utmost comfort to the students with more personal space provided in an ideal location. The rooms provide most modern facilities and privacy. Each student is provided with a cot, a table and a chair in their respective rooms. The students of all programmes live together in the hostels which help in developing a healthy and cordial relationship among them. Ragging is strictly prohibited. The hostel is annexed with a kitchen & dining halls with facilities to provide food at protected and hygienic environment. The mess serves to the taste of all cuisines. Healthy and nutritious food is served. Common room with T.V is also there. Hostel has also facilities for indoor games. Internet   and Computer Facilities are   also available in the hostel.  Security guards for the hostel are on duty round the clock. 

Canteen 

The college canteen caters good quality variety of dishes at reasonable rates to students, staff and visitors. It remains open on all working days and it tends to be the most popular place on campus, not only for physical refreshment but also for student bonding, discussions and even work on assignments and projects. 

Apart from the college canteen, there are two food kiosks functioning inside the campus providing snacks and refreshments. A well furnished and spacious Cafeteria is located in the heart of the campus. It provides all type of nutritious and hygienic eatables and beverages to cater to the multi-ethnic tastes of the students, staff and visitors. In the vibrant atmosphere of Cafeteria, students learn in an informal manner and share commitment in a group. The Campus Cafe is open from 8.30 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. on all working days including Saturdays. A wide variety of dishes are available at very nominal rates. 

Sports and Games               

Mangalam college of engineering has state of the art sports facilities in the following area:

• Cricket Nets

An Internet cafe with thirty terminals is kept open upto 6 P.M to enable the students to utilize the possibilities of web-based learning. 7 MBPS Broadband internet connectivity is available for this. We have separate Internet laboratories and WiFi access facilities 

Transportation

Transport facility is provided to have access to and from major places like Ettumanoor, Kottayam ,Thiruvalla ,Thalayolaparambu and Erattupeta to college campus.. The students and staff can use the college bus facility by purchasing bus passes from college office for a minimum of 6 months.
