St. Joseph's College of Engineering & Technology was established in 2002. This college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. Mar Joseph Kallarangatt is the Bishop of Palai and Patron of the College. He had his higher studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome and took a doctorate in Theology. Applications for SJCET MBA admissions are accepted from the end of April every year.
