Maratha Mandal Engineering College [MMEC] is the affiliated college of the Visvesvaraya Technological University and has established a full-fledged Training and Placement Department with a experience in industry and academic institutions, as its head. The department is established to see to it that all the students are trained as per the required industry standards [Soft skills, Aptitude and Technical Skills] apart from the academic curriculum to build their career and place in the reputed organization in India & abroad. The department contacts industries and invites the company HR representatives Technical personnel for campus recruitments and guest lecture’s. MMEC provides them the local hospitality and other infrastructural facilities to the industry representatives to effectively and efficiently conduct campus selection programmes. Past two years, the department has been successful in getting a number of industries to visit MMEC for campus recruitment.

Placements & Internships : Companies like Vayavayalabs, Alpha 9, Juspay, Vritika technologies, and Shree ram group come for the placements. There are good placements provided by the college with good salary packages ranging from INR 1 to 3 lakhs per annum.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admissions are open on both management quota and KCET entrance exam. To get admission through management quota a student has to pay the management quota fees which are decided by management for that particular year. The admission through KCET quota is through ranking as per Karnataka board. Colleges are allocated as per KCET ranking.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 61,000 per annum. Scholarship options are provided by Karnataka board which is around INR 20,000 to 36,000 depends on the category. The fee structure is provided for getting loans from the bank. Many students are eligible to get their scholarship.
Academics & Faculty : There are well-educated staffs and a nice bonding is created with students.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college has the nice infrastructure with well-established classrooms, library, labs and required apparatus. The canteen service is average. It will change as per time on contract basis. Wifi connectivity is very nice which covers the entire college surroundings. There is hostel service for boys and girls with good rooms at an affordable price.
Clubs & Associations : Students can join the grateful IEEE, LEAD organization. Faculty well support for both technical and non-technical events. There is the encouragement in sports too. Well organized tech feast, annual day, world record events.
