Maulana Azad National Urdu University admission offers UG courses for a term of 3 to 4 years. Admission to all the UG courses is based on merit. UG admission requires a 10+2 qualifications depending on specialization. Admission to all the UG courses is based on merit and entrance exam. The MANUU eligibility criteria for UG courses is as follows.

• For B.Tech10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects with 45% marks in aggregate or Polytechnic Diploma
• For B.A. 10+2 or Equivalent from Recognised Board/ Institution/ Madarsa with 40% marks in aggregate
• For B.Sc 10+2 or Equivalent from Recognised Board/ Institution/ Madarsa with 40% marks in aggregate
• For B.Ed Candidates must have 50% aggregate in B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com or graduation in Engineering or Technology with Specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks

• Mathematics as one of the subjects at 12th or Graduation
• For MA Candidates must have passed BA in a relevant subject
• For M.SC Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% in UG with Mathematics as the main subject
• For M.Com Candidates must have at least 45% marks in B.Com
• For M.Ed Candidates must have 50% aggregate marks in B.Ed from a Recognised University or Institution
• For M.Phil Candidates are required to hold 55% in relevant subjects in their Master’s Degree 
• Candidates who have qualified UGC/ CSIR-JRF/ NET, acceptable GATE score / M.Phil in the subjects concerned are exempted from the Written Exam, but the part of the interview is compulsory 
• Applicants who have a qualified NET/ valid GATE score/ Phil shall be given 50 percent marks and those who have qualified JRF instead of the Entrance Exam shall be given 70 percent marks. However, they can, if the candidates wish to appear for the written exam
