Infrastructure :-

It is part of the basic policy of the promoters that infrastructural self-sufficiency is a pre-requisite for better productivity and performance in all the activities, more so for academic activities. The Management has always been creating and updating academic and building infrastructure to meet the AICTE norms and standards from time to time and to make life easy and stress-free in the campus.

Today the campus resembles a park with well laid out black-topped internal roads with avenue trees on either-side. The one k.m. approach road too is a beauty to watch. Every bit of the vacant space is covered with lawns, flower plants and gardens. It is a most environment friendly campus, full of greenery, the hills on the western side adding to the contrast of the panorama.

Library

The College library functions in an exclusive two storied building with amazing infrastructural facilities. A good collection of books and journals (Indian and Foreign) on each and every discipline offered is a standing testimony for it. In addition, reference books, periodicals, magazines, the back volumes, thesis reports, etc are also available. The operations of the library are computerized. Book bank facilities are also available for economically backward students such as SC/ST students under government aided schemes.

Laboratories

The state-of-the-art laboratories in SECE facilitate the training and teaching of student in various streams to the level of industry expectations. The labs cater to the needs of the students studying in respective departments, are equipped with latest machinery/ equipment/instruments. Our laboratories comply with the International standard which helps the students to be well conversant with the various instruments. By handling the most sophisticated equipments, the students build up a high confidence level, which benefits them in the long run.

Computer Lab

The objectives of Computer Centre have always been to be in the forefront of utilization of IT and leverage its power in making learning informative & enjoyable. A fully air conditioned computer laboratory is equipped with high-end branded computers and wide screen 17" TFT monitors with The Students Computer machine ratio of 1:1 implying complete accessibility. It is networked and supported by online UPS systems with backup facility. SECE is a fully wired campus and consists of high-speed fiber-optic backbone connected to the internal network through a high-end gigabit Ethernet switch. The intranet facility also enables knowledge sharing among students. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled for their exclusive use. A fast and efficient Wi-Fi connecting different buildings of the campus is well in place which connects all the computers in the various computer labs, faculty rooms, class rooms, academic block, administration Block, Library and hostels. To facilitate hard copy printing, network printers in the form of laser printers are installed in various computer labs and other academic and administration blocks.

Canteen

A canteen is functioning within the premises of the college to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students. A subsidized mess is also operative in the campus. A separate mess for boys has been provided. The College Canteen is a large spacious area, with a view of greenery all around, and a variety of refreshments and meals available. It tends to be the most popular place on campus, not only for physical refreshment but also for student bonding, discussions and even work on assignments and projects.

Transport

The transport system is far more better than in comparison with other networks as we have a 24/7 available service of buses which connects the candidates to the nearest city or town. There are regular efforts to increase the various modes of transportation for the students.

Hostel

Separate hostel accommodation for girls and boys are available. The ladies hostel houses around 240 girls. It has an independent kitchen, mess, health equipments, common room with telephone facilities etc., The gents hostel accommodates upto 600 boys with a separate mess. Considerable stress is laid on a clean environment.

The hostel provides hygienic and quality food to suit diverse tastes and preferences. A comfortable mess hall has also been provided. The hostel rooms are provided with table, chairs, cupboards, beds, common bath, and hot water facilities. The other common facilities include availability of telephone and television.
